Great place to work out, very glad silver sneakers is part of this facility. The pool and the hot tub are wonderful. Locker rooms are always fresh and clean.

This review is for the children's swim at the Wilson YMCA. They are fantastic with knowing how to teach kids to swim! I am so thankful to the Wilson YMCA for teaching my child to swim so quickly, after our family wasted so much time elsewhere without success in the past. We tried both group lessons and private lessons here at the YMCA, they are great! The swim instructors are patient and encouraging with the kids. The long pool and the variety of swim teaching tools they are using make it easier for the kid to figure out swimming. The family changing rooms are large and comfortable. There is sufficient parking space at the buliding and adequate seating at the pool deck.

I love the Y. This location has pretty much everything. Sports for the kids. Pools. The staff is always helpful for the most part. They have Christian scripture on the walls. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. An also spiritual vitamins, that have a scripture on a paper you can pick from a container. I love businesses who are Christ centered. I hope they never take this away. I did only give 4 stars because the ladies in the childcare area sometimes come off bothered by their position or tired of the kids. A the kids just want to play and be kids. It’s not their fault these ladies are tired. Also, they quit praying before the games. Which I feel they should bring that back. Overall it’s nice and family friendly.

(This is a review for the Wheeler Rd Y specifically) Love their indoor track. It's great to stay cool in the Summer and warm in the winter. Not to mention rainy days. They have all the weight machines, tread mills, stepper machines and other machines you'll ever need. They also have plenty of free weights. They also have free classes like Zumba and Yoga. And they have a great Pickleball program with tournaments held every week. We love this place!
