Many times they've helped me throw my trash into the dumpsters when I couldn't get it up high enough because of my shoulder. These guys are friendly and helpful.

That is an awesome picture. Other (Grady) employees keep the place spotless. In the other location not too far away, Patrick also keeps the place immaculate . They spray cleaner and disinfectant deodorizer to wash under the garbage dumpster. PROPS!! I hate tracking the swill back into my vehicle. I need to add this, why #AikenCounty has not figured out how to collect and change out refuse bins before opening in the morning is just ludicrous. Staggered hours, a Roming utility crew there's a million ways to fix this so that 20 cars don't line up, wait a half-hour to drop off a bag of garbage. This is not hard especially for this location and the Couchins location given their proximity to the Windsor landfill. There is there is not a need for them to travel 30 minutes across town to the c&d landfill on the Westside. Either close the evening before and swap canisters or jodan the morning prior to opening.

Aiken County is covered with trash thrown from cars and illegally dumped. Aiken County has compounded the problem by making it more difficult to drop trash at trash transfer stations. The bin to put trash bags in was changed to a different company that modified the receptacle to a higher point. It is more difficult placing trash into hopper for me and I am six feet tall, shorter people or those with mobility issues have more difficulty. Those who have mobility issues or older people are being disproportionately and negatively affected. The hopper bins should be returned to original height or lowered to be in line with Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards. Current configuration and operation is poor. This is not the methods or expectations of using funds from and servicing the Aiken County Taxpayers.
