Incredible!! This is one of the only companies I called that showed up on time and kept me up to date with scheduling text messages for what was happening next. My yard has been transformed into a showcase with the work they did. They showed up on time and worked all day to be sure they got me taken care of. My yard was a blank slate from the hurricane and they turned it into a work of art. I will definitely be using Willow Creek for all my lawn service from now on.

WARNING!!!DON'T HIRE THIS OUTFIT!!!Company was recommended by a friend. Foreman came and speced out the job, gave me estimate for fall cleanup of yard and driveway, and pruning of some camellia, gardenia, boxwood, holly and azalea bushes around the house and fronting the street. Quoted me $480. I thought it was somewhat high but said okay. (Strangely enough, while we were discussing the job, he actually said to me it was hard to find good help!) Job was scheduled for next day between 9 and 930 am. When they didn't show or call by 1045, I texted the foreman. He said they were "on the way". At about 1115 I heard some activity at the top of the driveway. Went to look and three young guys were hedge trimming one of the big Hollys facing the street. I asked who was in charge, put him in the golf cart and showed him everything I wanted done, as discussed the day prior with the "foreman". Around 1230 I see the three guys have come down from the top of the driveway and are standing in front of the house. I tell them I've got a 12 foot stepladder they can use to help them trim my two 18 foot tall camellias. I go to my shed and lug it back to them. Then the guy who was "in charge" says to me "Sir, there's a discrepancy with the company and we are leaving the job." Off they go. I then get in the golf cart with my wife and go up to the top of the driveway to see what they had actually done. (They did nothing in the yard after trimming the bushes on the street.) When we get up the driveway there's another guy there from the company. He tells me the other guys quit, he's a "friend" of the owner, and he's there to finish the job with the "foreman", who's on the way over. We said no thanks, I'd seen enough. Foreman shows up with another worker, tells me the other workers were fired, and they literally begged me to let them finish the job. Against my better judgment, I said okay, but I wanted a price cut. They then called the owner, and I related that to him. He agreed to cut $30...

Took off a day of work to have someone come by and give me an estimate. They never showed up, and when I called 15 minutes after the appointment time they told me that the person who was supposed to come by had an issue and couldn't come anymore. Would have been nice to have been told that so I could have just went into work. Decided that building a retaining wall with this company wouldn't be the best idea.

Long rant........ After paying a "pretty penny" for 10 pallets of sod plus the organic topsoil that was so "highly recommended" by Andrew (Owner) and installation, we are left with gaps between rows, humps in the yard (that were not there prior to sod installation), and unanswered assurance of a smooth, flat lawn. We have found sticks, glass, and rocks in the excess topsoil that was blown back on to the fresh sod. As we watched the crew work, the soil was not raked out evenly or level throughout the entire yard. It was not properly rolled after installation because, "the handle kept coming off the roller". When we contacted Andrew, he assured us he would send his guys out to address our concerns. They did. The gaps were "fixed" by tearing pieces of sod off of what was already laid and basically throwing them in the spots. (These chunks ended up dying as they were the dried out ends of what was overlapped on the rolls.) As far as rolling.....same broken roller....it was rolled by an employee who obviously wanted to be anywhere else but on the job. When asked why it was only rolled in one direction......he said the handle would not stay on the roller. Really? He looked at me, stone faced, and kept repeating himself by saying, "are you satisfied Ma'am? Ma'am are you satisfied?" At which point, yeah, you can leave now....we will give Andrew a call. We did. We expressed the concerns about the humps and spaces, and the fact that our sidewalk flooded since the install. He said he would come by and take a look, but that drainage was not listed in the contract. It was never an issue before this sod was installed! Haven't seen or heard from him since. Now, with that being said, it looks good from afar....but....when you walk around and look at it, gaps and mounds, and of course small "holes" where the rolls didn't meet. I would put money on it that HE wouldn't be happy with this job if it was HIS money or HIS front yard. There is no pride taken in the work that was paid f...

Great communication, very nice people. Great work ethic. They stepped in where other companies declined because I live so far out of town.
