West Forrest Assisted Living

I was truly amazed at the home like surroundings within this facility, the amazing sweet aroma that meets you at the front door. The ladies all seem to be very happy, the home was very clean and every room was neat and clean .. including the rest rooms. I wish that all homes that cared for our elderly were as well kept and ran as this one. And Mrs. Angie has the most care for each and every one of her clients and they know it..

I have known Angie since we were toddlers, and am so proud of the career she has made dedicating herself to the elderly and vulnerable. Her home is lovely and well maintained. Angie has always had high principles, learned from youth by her mother, WillieMae, who raised an army of children and made fried chicken and biscuits every single day of her hard working life. Angie was raised on old fashioned country cooking. The last time I visited West Forrest she was in the kitchen shelling peas. She won’t open a can of vegetables if there is fresh to be found. While my brother and I are immeasurably fortunate to be able to care for our 83 year old mother at home, I would entrust my sweet Mama to Angie’s care if that were not possible, and I say that without reservation.

This review is regarding the review that was placed on this page from Tonya Ray . Tonya Ray has never been to my facility or my home . This review was posted out of anger due to her not liking something that I had to address. But as we all know we are not gonna please everybody it’s impossible . Anybody that knows me and my husband knows the character of people we are . It’s a shame that people like this has nothing no better to do than show their jealousy and envy on someone business page . We have been in business for 16 years and have built a great reputation with our business . We love and care for all our clients as if they were our family . Our business is very clean and everything is handled in a professional manner . Just wanted to clarify and correct the review that was posted that was so inappropriate by Tonya Ray .

I personally know Joe and Angela Lokey. I have visited the Assisted Living Facility and it is very clean and ran very professionally. The residents are treated like family and loved the same. I highly recommend this facility. I commend Joe and Angela for their dedication and high standards.

Please be careful who you leave your loved ones with. I’ll leave these words for anyone considering this Facility for their loved one “ EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD”!
