Wesley United Methodist Church

For two days straights, I came back to this church during Wesley Women’s Conference, and if I were to describe my experience in one word, I’d choose the word JOY. Kate, the organizer, was so helpful and personable! I found the conference a few hours before its start on Google, and she allowed me to register and join anyway. The environment was so welcoming and pleasant. The ladies were open-minded and ready to do the self-work, so I got a lot out of it the first night! The second day was transformational! The activity quality and variety they planned was mind-blowing: it relaxed me in the midst of high stress in my life, and I was feeling peaceful and calm the entire second day after meditative painting and making prayer beads. I’ve already used the prayer beads I made yesterday, and they helped me. Next, I want to comment on cleanness. Such a clean and healthy establishment! The speakers were also excellent and very relatable. The content was TEN out of five stars. I can go on and on because I loved every minute, actually. Thanks to the volunteers and staff.

Went there for a multi-family yard sale and it was horrible I’ve never seen so much clutter in one place other than the trash pile that inside that day it was so unorganized but the furniture outside was the only thing that really looked good around there that day! The rest was just dumped out on tables on the inside

I've never attended a service here, but highly recommend the preschool! When we moved here a few months ago we had few options, as everyone had waiting lists, but we were able to get right in and have had such a wonderful experience in Prek with Mrs. Miriam and Alston. They also have a mom's group that meets once a week that I've gone to several times, and everyone is just so welcoming. It all reflects great on the church itself.

It is wonderful church, very large buildings and amenities. Everyone are wonderful caring people. The church always opens its doors to the Columbia County School system. It also supports the Boy Scouts and many other charitable organizations. Many outreach programs.

I cannot say enough good things about this church! I've gone to many churches and different denominations in my many years. I can say without a doubt this is the most connected I've ever felt with a church and quite honestly these wonderful people changed my life and connected me with my faith in a way I've never known. This is all based off the contemporary service because while I've done traditional in my life it's not the medium I connect with. So with that being said, the music is phenomenal. Ryan as the worship leader is not only talented with his voice but ties you into a message through the music. His banter with Adam (before he left) and David brings hilarious levity. The preachers they have there as you see with David Blackwood are a gift. The message is always done in such a way that it truly resonates and the life applications really hit home. You can tell when someone was truly meant to share messages with others and he is definitely fulfilling that calling. The church itself is incredibly involved with the community in countless events both local and abroad. The congregation makes you feel welcome and I love how it and the church itself is adaptable. What I mean is that it can be exactly what you need and adjust as your desires and needs do. Want to be involved? There's countless ways. Want to be more of an observer? Not a problem, but you're always noticed and recognized by kindness even when you think nobody is watching. There's holiday events that are very involved, a preschool program that is the pinnacle of early development for children and quite honesty the gold standard and a staff that is more like family and makes you and your children feel like they're coming home. And on a personal level, I found this church during a hard point in my life and were a lighthouse during some dark times and helped me not only shine my way through it but helped me to be the closest I've ever felt to my faith.
