Uptown Cheapskate Augusta

This was my first time making a purchase at Uptown Cheapskate. The ladies were very kind and extremely helpful. I purchased cowboy boots, a cowboy hat, and some Adidas items. When compared to paying full price, I know I saved well over $200. I will definitely go to see my new best friends at Uptown Cheapskate again real soon.

Went for the first time recently and the employees were very nice. However, keep in mind that the prices are closer to consignment or Ross prices rather than traditional thrift stores ($10-25). Most of the selections were "on-trend" but you may struggle if your taste is a little alternative or out of the norm. I personally love to look through old "ugly" sweaters and find unique outfits, so while I did find some pieces I liked, it wasn't the place for me. That being said, it's the perfect place for someone who isn't interested in the "hunt" of thrifting and who doesn't mind paying for a more curated experience. I'll probably revisit when the seasons change!

WOW AJ WAS BEYOND HELPFUL AND AMAZING. I was looking for a specific item he offered to call the store and provide assistance!! I was like wowww then he offered to take back returns!!! I was even more amazed by the customer service he is beyond an asset to the store!!! He multi tasked and helped other customers while still making me feel just as important!! I’m just at awe with the service he provide!! Thank you for having an employee like AJ AT YOUR BUSINESS!! 100 thumbs up to AJ !!!

Find it utterly ridiculous that my 11-year-old son can’t try on a matching pair of shoes together because of their policy. So the shoes don’t get stolen, 1 must always be behind the counter. We were sitting in front of the register in plain sight. The store was slow. There’s no reason the manager couldn’t have watched us for the less than 5 minutes it takes to try on a pair of shoes. Not shopping here again. That’s awful customer service.

Organization 10/10. Staff is there to help, but not pushy at all. Clean dressing rooms. Great selection, lots of choices! Plan to be there like 90 minutes because there's a lot to browse through! Military discounts and birthday discounts....gotta love a store that supports the troops! I even found some new with tags items and their prices were such a discount.
