Universal Carpet Cleaning

Great service, they had space available and completed our carpets the same day. They did a great job and put extra care into the high traffic areas of our aging carpet. Our carpet is clean and the business was responsive. The price was competitive and less than what I had been quoted at two other spots. It's also nice to support local, Google search pushed chain companies first.

The positives: the technician who did the job was wonderful. not only did the technician have a great demeanor, he did an incredible job on the actual cleaning. Also, when originally requesting a quote, they answered and got back to me promptly The negatives: after receiving the original quote, we decided to adjust some things and requested a new quote. We never received a response and after waiting a few days, we had to call back to get an updated quote. Could have been handled better, but no big deal. The real issue is the discrepancy in service and price. The whole reason we originally contacted them was to get an area rug cleaned offsite. We were quoted and agreed to this service and decided to add carpet & upholstery cleaning services. On the day of, the tech says he doesn’t have record of us having an area rug taken to be cleaned and that the office would reach out. Later that evening, we receive a text, from the same number that ignored our request for an updated quote, with a curt “Did you receive the payment link?”. No asking how was the service, no asking did everything go as expected, and no mention of the area rug. In addition, the amount tied to said payment link was different than what was quoted. Overall, I didn’t like the disorganization and I certainly don’t like receiving great service upfront, but that service doesn’t continue once you’ve agreed to do business. I understand in business, mistakes happen…but service is the one thing you always have control over.

Just had to post this review…. Universal Carpet Cleaning are the BEST! Ms. Jackie was so lovely and personable and on the phone. She got me scheduled fast and did a confirmation call the day before. The technicians Jamie and Tony were amazing ( so ask for them if they are available 🥰🤗👍🏾)!!! They addressed every concern and even adjusted the deodorize scent for my allergies . I have been using Universal for the past 5 years and my recent experience has been nothing short of splendid. If you need your carpet cleaned or home professionally cleaned please give them a call. I love how they contact you the morning of the appointment to confirm as well. This helps a busy woman like myself to stay on track. Again call them for all your household cleaning needs.
