Promotional offer was a complete fraud. Promise of $400 if two deposits totalling $1000 over three months. Made two deposits totalling $1400. Was told that because I deposited the money electronically that it would not count. Ridiculous. Driving the 30 minutes to a branch tomorrow and closing account. No way to make and keep customers.

This branch is so poorly run. The Manager will not return phone calls. Every time I go into the bank she is never there. The staff are very reluctant to assist with any issue. They don't pick up the phone. UPDATE: 02/14/25 Truist, keeps taking away perks such as free checking, free checks, free safe deposit box etc....I have had this account for about 40 years. Truist is greedy and is not concerned nor do they care about the individual customer. Save yourself the grief and bank elsewhere.

I swear this the worst bank. If you come prepare to wait, their is no sense of urgency for anything. Just ridiculous, I hate when I have to come in, its akways a 30-45min wait… Cant wait to move my Business accts. I shouldnt have to drive to Evans for Service

Needed change for a 10 because my laundry is coin operated. They refused to give me change because I don't bank with them. I used to and now am reminded why I stopped (in addition to the widespread fraud scandal). Let me tell you I feel so inspired now; it really makes Truist feel like part of my community and not a soulless corporate bank expanding its empire. I went across the street to a local business and they had change for me.

Cindy Wiggins was my banker. She was incredibly rude, made fun of customers IN FRONT OF ME, and then refused to allow me to pull money out of my account. I had to get her manager involved. That bank is horribly mismanaged. They had 4 people there and only one line open. I was one of four visibly disgruntled customers. Please transfer ms Wiggins to another posting where she can keep up with the customers and general societal niceties. And please transfer ms Tiffany (the bank manager) to something that fits her competence level (I.e. window teller possibly). This was BY FAR the worst truist banking experience of my life. I’m THIS close to closing my account. Totally unacceptable!!!
