We’ve stopped here twice to break up a long drive. The front desk staff has always been nice. They are dog friendly, even for larger dogs like ours. The hotel is newer, so the room is more modern and nice than lots of hotels. We’ll keep staying here on trips in the future.

Pros:Beds, pillows are great Nice decor Kitchen well stocked New hotel Housekeeping Breakfast Cons: Ac is motion activated, no movement air in room, it will be 73 or higher when I get back in from the day. Stuffy feeling. Fan is not constant, will kick off in the middle of the night. Called Maintenance to take off energy efficient and make fan constant, whatever he did did not work. Heard several complain about this feature even though staff said no one ever says anything. Apparently this is a Marriott trend. Lowest Ac goes is 64, doesn't feel 64, feels like 72. Hot water is not hot it's warm, said they have to keep temp like that so no one burns themselves. I've been in plenty of hotels they can come up at least to where it feels hot. Maintenance said he can adjust that, he did something in my tub but couldn't tell a difference. He was very nice and so was some of the staff, not all though, housekeeping is nice and breakfaat ladies. Some staff at desk don't even acknowledge you or smile, they all look miserable and unhappy. Breakfast is great other than always green bananas, even aggravated breakfast lady when i said do you ever have any bananas not green. I just went and bought my own. I've stayed here on and off over the last few months when in town for work because it is so clean. I also bought a fan from Walmart across the street and boil water in a pot on the stove and pour in my tub. My co worker is cold NATURED and stayed here and ac issues didn't bother her no the water. So guess it depends on your body, I like cold rooms, constant moving air and hot water.

I’m just following back up after my wife had taken our two children on a solo trip by herself to visit her brother for his Military graduation. She felt badly because this was a gift from her brother and colleague and she felt ungrateful. We have collectively stayed at several other locations since this trip and we can’t help but compare the service. And truly we have never encountered what she encountered here at this hotel. Tru by Hilton, Avid, and several others have far surpassed the experience and expectations that we had to go off of after her experience here. The management singled her out so much so that even other staff members told her to take pictures of the room in case she would unfairly charge her since she (the manager that singled out our “chaotic” kids (sarcasm)) was the one to do inspections and add check out charges. That same manager was standing at the front desk and wouldn’t assist my wife getting our son who was locked inside 100 feet away when a door to the pool closed before she could catch it when telling her brother he had to leave. A guest staying at the hotel had to open the door while this manager just watched next to the front staff. This was after telling my wife her brother who booked the and his two children couldn’t stay to swim with my children. There was no one in the pool. The room was a 2 queen room. Because we have learned after traveling more over the holidays that it in fact isn’t the norm, that our children were absolutely respectful and likable, and that they could have fun while we traveled we felt it was appropriate to follow up with a final review of how completely unacceptable her experience at this location was. Our 4 year old still refers to it as “the one place with the mean lady.” (Alecia who made it very clear she didn’t like my wife or children since they arrived) This specific complex has very nice hotels in the same parking lot and I highly recommend you save yourself the stress and disappointment and...

*Military Family* we won’t be coming back and instead of extending my stay here an extra day we will be moving next door to one of the other very nice hotels tomorrow due to poor conflict resolution skills and the way my kids were referred to and treated by Alecia and Management. This was my first trip to come out to see my military brother for his warrant officer graduation. I have never booked a hotel before this and it was my first solo road trip with my kids. My brother and his military colleague booked the room for me. When I got in there was an issue because i needed credit card authorization. That wasn’t made known to me until after they told me I needed that card on file or I had to pay. Alecia was very callus and didn’t seem interested in resolving it. After I called my brother and he told me he would figure it out and call his friend Eric that’s when she told me about the credit card authorization form. I asked her why she didn’t tell me before and she responded with “I didn’t have a chance.” Which was not true and I reminded her of the options she told me. Which she responded with “Well I’m telling you now and I need form of payment or you need to leave.” It had been a 9 hour drive with my 2 small children and the first time I had ever done this the road trip the hotel all of it. The rest of the staff have been wonderful here but then Alecia’s attitude continued to single us out. she would ignore us when we walked in but greeted other guest. We felt uncomfortable talking to her in person so I tried to call the front desk from both my cell and my room phone for extra towels. which are on file. it was a dead lobby when we walked in and when we walked out. There was another receptionist there and I asked her if there was trouble with the phone that I had tried 6 times with different phones the last half hour but couldn’t get through. So we tried it there and it worked just fine. I have a strong suspicion that Alicia was ignoring our phone calls. I ...

Outdoor fire pit does not work, pool has been closed for a week & a half, outdoor chair cushions are not taken in or covered so they are always soaking wet, there are supposed to be kitchen items for loan, but small things like dry ingredient measuring cups, an ice bucket & spatulas are not available. Guests are fussed at for being the outdoor seating/grill area after 10p though no signs are posted indicated that it’s off limits after a certain time. You have to ask to borrow remotes for the public space tvs & that often comes with fussing as well. The front desk doesn’t have access to all consumable/linen items, so if you’re not able to catch housekeeping you’re most likely out of luck. I’ll be writing a more thorough review on the staff & their treatment of guests once I check out, but these things are affecting the quality of my stay & I think it’s important others be aware before booking.
