TOKI Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi

June The food here really is hit and miss and it absolutely depends on the cook. Whoever the cook was for today (June 28) at around 3 pm is one of the best ones. My steak and veggies were perfectly cooked. I like my steak med rare and it was so tender and juicy. I don't know who was in charge of the sushi, but my husband raved about the salmon avocado roll. He said it was the best he ever had there. I wish I knew who the good cooks are so I can only go when they're handling the food. The hostess who handled my order double checked everything and was so friendly. Great experience all around. May We've been to Toki a lot over the years. I generally really enjoy the food although it isn't always consistent. Sometimes you'll get a cook that clearly knows what he's doing and sometimes it's not as good. I usually order the ribeye hibachi med rare. I've gotten the regular steak hibachi before because it's cheaper. Even when it's cooked properly, the steak is thinner than the hibachi which is usually tender. I would bet that the food I got is the regular steak hibachi. This has no fat, it's very thin, it's super overcooked, and it is dry and unappetizing. So disappointing. I shouldn't have to be $17 super dry hibachi.

Food was great they give you plenty of it. The waitress was super sweet she did a great job taking care of me and my family at the nephew's graduation party. Highly recommend anything on the menu to Cooks are very experienced in handling that ethnic food group. What a great team in in the restaurant.keep up the good work.

Our food has always been great. It’s one of our go to places for teriyaki. They are also very generous with local student athletes and sponsorships. Great supporters of our community.

Best teriyaki chicken in town. Best sushi special values in the very back of menu. Huge portions. Excellent tempura - vegetables, shrimps, asparagus. Their ginger dressing for the salad is perfect.

So I ordered two steak and shrimp dinners with a extra steak to go. Not only did I have to wait 30 extra minutes on my order . Not to mention. A bug ran across my foot. Forgot my salad dressing and my extra steak. Food was nasty. This place used to be good. I don't recommend this place.
