The Playful Hippie

We ordered Fish in a Bag Glycerin Soap for a couple of young boys (siblings, ages 3 and 5), and they absolutely loved it. I should have bought two bars, but it was sort of a last-minute thought. Let me tell you, this is a quality, unique gift, and Kathy, The Playful Hippie, was a dream to work with! Her shop through Public Square, is a gem, and a place I plan to frequent. Super duper hippity happy that I came across The Playful Hippie in my online search for holiday soap gifts. I purchased an absolutely gorgeous set of 2 sparkly snowflake soaps. They were nice-sized, surprisingly (and perfectly) weighty, the perfect amount of sparkly, smell wonderful, and were just beautifully packaged. Shipping was fast. Actually, I purchased 2 sets: one is a holiday gift and the other is a gift to me 😊 The owner was a real pleasure to chat with as well. One of the best soaps I’ve ever used for shaving. Say good bye to irritated skin, expensive shave creams, gels, that only leave my legs with bumps. The Citrus shave bar leaves a milky, lather layer on top of my skin while shaving and leaves my legs silky to the look and touch. Great for gifts and I recommend to everyone to try you won’t turn back. Thank you again for this wonderful product!

I have used several of Kathy's soaps over the last year and a half and I quickly recommend them to anyone and every one. I favor the lavender moisturizer bar for a daily cleanse. But I have also used the NEW bug bite remedy and it works really well! I was covered in sand flea bites after vacation and this bar works even better than calamine lotion! I know several of our customers regularly return to purchase a variety of her soaps. Everybody's got a favorite!

I just love the smell of her handmade candles, lotions, and more! She has the cutest designs. I found her inside the Little Red Fox Shop on Lauren's street in downtown Aiken. Her candles make such a great gift for all occasions, but I especially loved her gingerbread men!! I recommend her 10/10!!
