The Meadows Original Frozen Custard and Italian Ice

After a date lunch, this is our favorite place to hang out before heading back to work. The custard, in my opinion, is better than ice cream. The flavors are richer and the texture is more smooth—think exceptionally high quality soft serve. The mix-ins (today was butterfingers) are evenly spread throughout, not clumped or on top. Today the ratio of candy to custard was just right. Not too much of either. The restaurant is very kid-friendly, with a playpen and toys for the younger children and board games for the older ones. They have a changing table with some emergency diapers, if you need them (very surprised by that!) I was also pleased to note that they serve my favorite local coffee roaster, Goat Kick Coffee. I haven’t tried their espresso drinks, so no comments on that, but they do have coffee if you’d like that to go with your dessert.

I go wvery week now and grab a pint of vanilla custard. I cannot go without it. Totally worth it. I've also tried the mago Italian ice and custard mix. Perfect textures and so very fruity flavorful. So many flavors and the cutest atmosphere

My family and I celebrated my birthday this June by having Meadows custard ice cream for lunch. We ordered the fresh custard they were making at the time as well as 2 Gelatis and 2 Italian ices and 1 sundae. The custard was flavorful, creamy and delectable. The Italian ice was smooth to the tongue and very tasty. This custard and Italian ice was the best we have ever had and we would highly recommend anybody to try it. It's tucked away in a shopping center in Grovetown but well worth the drive. This buisness is locally owned which is a bonus for us. Locally own businesses help to encourage growth in our community.

I got the custard nachos with the dulce du Leche (pardon my spelling) falvor that they had today. They were delicious. The waffer was not soggy and melted in your mouth. The custard was perfect. My new favorite place!

They have creative flavor of the day choices every day but they can make anything into a shake!!! Great place!
