The Guest House On Academy

Work brought me to Louisville every other week for five months. Without the homey comfort of the Guest House, I don’t think I would have lasted five months at my job. There are two houses and I ended up staying at each of them. Both were so convenient to downtown Louisville, immaculately clean and had well outfitted kitchens. The beds were wonderful with quality bed linens. The snacks provided were a great treat after a long day at work. If I could award 10 stars, I would.

12 family members stayed here last week in order to attend a memorial service. Everything about The Guest House on Academy is top notch. Karen is a gracious host and very responsive. Both houses are immaculate with beautiful decor. There were snacks and continental breakfast options to complement the coffee. Absolutely the best small accommodations we have ever experienced.

Our family gathered in Louisville to inter beloved ones. The Guest House was a perfect setting for sharing memories, comfortable, extremely clean, convenient, with everything we needed. Thank you, Karen.

Exceptional home and host in Louisville, GA: 1. Karen’s home was meticulous in every way. It was exceptionally clean, the furnishings/appliances were excellent . Beautiful décor, 2. Responsiveness: Anytime I had a question for Karen, the owner, she responded quickly, 3. Karen met us at check in and took the time to show and describe all our accommodations. She went out of the way to provide snacks, coffee, tea and home baked muffins. 4. Location: Felt very safe in this secure home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood, well enough away from a major roadway, but also is easily accessible to get to, 5. Good for those wanting a quiet area, 6. Spacious rooms, 7. You get exactly what is described in the listing. We travel all over the world and stay in homes. Karen’s place and her client servicing is top notch. We'll be back since Louisville is a place where our cousins live and our getaway from Wisconsin winters. Roy & Chris

Our family stayed at both guest houses this weekend while here to bury my mother. The homes allowed our families you be together, relax and reconnect. The owners family were gracious and receptive to our every need. I have worked for Marriott for almost 20 years and can attest that their hospitality was stellar and matched the best that host has to offer!
