If you're an Allman Brothers fan then this is a must see. The amount of amassed memorabilia is just incredible and one could look for days and see something new. Parts of the house actually made me choke up because of the nostalgia from a time that has been lost. The young guy in the gift shop is great !

Great place to visit history! Whether you like the band or not, this is a great place to visit. So many cool artifacts and lots to learn about the band. I am a fan of the band and this was amazing for me to see. The pool table in the set of photos was owned by Greg and Cher while married. If in Macon, take time to go here. Such a great place. People working there are friendly and knowledgeable and have connections to the band. Also cool to see a photo of Greg of him outside this museum after it opened. Go here!! It's a must see!

Wow! Just Wow. What an amazing celebration of the Allman Brothers and their life at the Big House. The upstairs section of the house made you feel they had just left and would be back in half an hour. The downstairs section was beautifully laid out to celebrate their lives, their music and their achievements. Mark and Richard were so knowledgeable that they made the house come alive. There was an added bonus when we visited, as Gilbert Lee the photographer who knew them and took many of their iconic photographs was there and shared with us some interesting tales from the day. 100% recommended.

Absolutely loved our visit. There is an incredible amount of memorabilia, and having it housed where they actually lived is a bonus. The people working there clearly loved their jobs and enjoyed giving i formation.
