Generally good. I use the Schedule C version. Sometimes difficult to navigate but so is the tax code. One example of being a little difficult: the Feds no longer allow deduction of charges for financial services management fees but my state does. I saw the fields to enter the fees but skipped it. When I went to find it later, I looked and looked in the State section. Not in State, it is in the Fed section. However, In general, the navigation is very good. The cost is very reasonable. I used it last year and this year and will use it again next year. If you ask, Taxslayer will give you the 1040-ES for filing your quarterly estimates. Some nice improvements over last year and I expect there will be improvements next year.

Worked well and did the job. I was used to software that asks me questions but that software was up to a minimum $129 for my simple return so I went with TaxSlayer this year. Once I caught on to the format it was very easy. While it was cheaper than last year they do charge more for the state return than the federal return but I still saved money over last year

Used TaxSlayer to file my 2024 taxes. The software was easy to navigate and had explanations for each section to walk you through the process. If you needed to leave and come back later to finish, it was easy to save and get back into the software at the section you left off. Very easy to go back and forth inside the software too. Efile was simple and got my refund in 4 days. Best price on the internet for tax software and no surprise hidden fees. 1040 filing is free! State returns are charged at a low fee. I used the premium that is reasonably priced compared to other software enabling you to speak with a live person if you have problems or for questions about your tax return. Highly recommend !!!

Third year using Taxslayer, first two times with help from Tax Aide volunteers, this time on my own. You can carry forward forms from prior year. The prompts are easy to follow. If you get stuck, the Taxslayer customer service is great! Will be using Taxslayer next year.
