Sunshine House of Evans

Compared to our limited experiences at other day care centers in the area, Sunshine House Evans feels like we hit the jackpot. My three kids get excited to go to school. I love hearing them sing new songs and ask me questions about topics they explore in their class. Their teachers show them warmth, affection, and individual attention (Ms. Julieta, Jazmine are MVPs) and send us photo updates throughout the day. They give the kids so many thoughtful, appropriate-for-their-age activities to do. The classrooms have a bunch of natural light and the backyard has a ton of greenspace for running around. I can't sing their praises enough and feel so grateful for the peace of mind I had while my children got to attend.

The staff here is so wonderful! My husband and I moved here in July with our 2 year old daughter and had never used public daycare before. After interviewing several locations we came to Sunshine House. It immediately felt comfortable and warm, everyone was so nice and above all the kids were very happy. They have been so supportive of us and our transition to life down here. They are patient and understanding, we couldn't have picked a better daycare.

Our family loves Sunshine House. With two children having attended for two years, we have gotten to know the teachers from five of the classrooms. There has not be a teacher we didn't love. They are all very friendly to both the parents and the children, and full of information about your child's day. They seem genuinely happy to be caring for the children in their care. The activities the kids do also seem fun and engaging. The center's director and assistant director are wonderful and very easy to talk to regarding questions and concerns. We would (and do) highly recommend Sunshine House to others in search of a good daycare/PreK program.

I cannot say enough good things about the Sunshine House and their staff! The teachers genuinely care about the children and it's evident every day. they have structured lesson plans which is very important - especially for my four year old. My youngest has been there since she was six weeks old. The center is always clean and organized. The staff is so sweet and keeps you up to date on your child's progress. Both my girls are excited to go to "school" every day and that is such a good feeling! I 100% recommend this center!

We absolutely LOVE the Sunshine house of Evans. When I was looking at daycares to take my daughter, the Sunshine house was the only one that made me feel a sense of peace. The director and assistant director were both very nice and welcoming when I came for a tour. They didn’t act annoyed with my million and one questions I had because they too are moms and understood that leaving your child in the hands of others is scary and stressful at first. The staff are very prompt about calling about any occurrences or emergencies. My daughters toddler class is very hands on and I love seeing pictures and art work posted on the walls. It’s a sad but good feeling when you pick up your daughter at the end of the day and she doesn’t want to go home because you know she loves her classroom. I would recommend the Sunshine House of Evans to anyone!
