One drive through male employee, and the manager at this branch are awful. Don't waste your time complaining about there rule and lazy employee, the manager will make you the problem. I've been going to this location for some years now and the employee at the window and inside are normally very friendly and courteous. I guess times are changing 😞

Worst bank ever..folks don't bank here unless you want your money taken and then when you speak with a supervisor she is just as incompetent as the other employees..I withdrew money from my account. I explained to the supervisor that I am not able to overdraft my account so why is my account negative after I had deposited $250 I withdrew $240 and then the next day it's negative $243. The supervisor first says it doesn't show where $240 was deposited then later says I see where $240 was deposited but b/c it was thru cashapp there is nothing she can do about it..she told me to call cashapp. I said your not making sense b/c first you said you don't see where the money was deposited and and now you say you do..so which one is it..she was too incompetent for me so I just hung up b/c she clearly wasn't going to help me..poor excuse for customer service. They need new employees and management ASAP b/c now they expect me to pay that negative balance and I had money in my account to withdrawal that money. I have overdraft protection meaning I can't overdraft so clearly the money had to be there. DO NOT bank here unless you want your money taken and then be expected to pay it back

We just moved from North Carolina to Georgia. Me and my husband was looking to do our banking business with SouthState Bank since after doing my research they are one of the highest interest rates. We walked in the bank at Peach Orchard Rd and sat at the waiting area. No customers, there were 5 tellers one lady sitting behind her desk and another one inside her office. It took a while before someone acknowledge us, make us feel nobody in this bank wants to work and provide service. Then the lady behind her desk asks us if she can help us, face no emotion, dont even have a smile in her face. Seems like she was not over her weekend off and upset because she has to work. So, we approach her and we told her that we want to open an account. Then, she told us that if the two of us is gonna be in the account we need to show ID’s showing that we live in the area. I told her that we just moved and purchased our house and I have our purchased disclosure agreement, showing our names and address. She said she is not sure if they accept that and have to make a phonecall. I understand the process, but for someone that wants your business and wants to provide good customer service, this woman is not showing it. I am wondering if I am not Asian or my husband is not black would we get the same treatment? We walked out and find some other bank that wants our business. I would not recommend this bank at all. If you want lousy service, then you are looking at the right place.

I banked here for several years because it was a closer location to where I lived vs. where I orginally opened up my account with them on their Columbia rd. location. Now having said that, this particular location has the absolute worst customer service with their customers face to face, that I have ever dealt with ever at a bank. If I could give them negative stars I would. Now also having said that, this banks phone customer service is tolerable. Not likeable but it is what it is. The actual bank tellers are rude snobby and and like it is a inconvenience for you to be there. Like they had something they were doing and you were interrupting them. They never smiled or acted like they were happy to help you with anything ever. Not one time. That to me is unacceptable and in my opinion that bank should close it's doors for good. The manager and other people at the bank were good. That's all I can say about that. Terrible bank and terrible tellers. Don't bank there. You will be disappointed.

Went to open a business account and the representative had an attitude from some previous encounter. Still left with an attitude. Gave me such a hard time I politely asked for my check and I.D and left but not without telling her how unprofessional she was. Peach orchard South state bank has some unprofessional employees working there.
