Miss Richards is amazing at the Augusta Georgia office. She is so caring and if it weren't for her and Miss McCoy I would be in a mess with my SS. I have never seen to people work as hard to help someone as they did. I can never say how thankful I am for their help. There are still good people in this world.

Exceptional Service from the Augusta, Georgia Social Security Administration Office I recently began receiving my Social Security Retirement Benefits, but I encountered some complexities I didn’t fully understand. One such issue arose when I mistakenly responded to a letter, leading to my benefits being suspended. I contacted the Augusta, Georgia office of the Social Security Administration and had the pleasure of speaking with Mrs. N. White. From the outset, the experience was outstanding. The hold time was minimal, and Mrs. White answered promptly. She conducted the necessary verification process with professionalism and quickly identified the issue with my submission. She then explained the steps she would take to resolve the matter and provided clear instructions on what to do if my benefits were not restored by the 19th of the month. She assured me that, if necessary, she could initiate a procedure to expedite the payment. Thanks to her efficiency, my payment was deposited ahead of schedule. What truly set this experience apart was the follow-up. On the following Monday, Mrs. White called to confirm the status of my benefits. She noticed that the system still reflected a suspension and took immediate action to address it. She assured me she would follow up the next day if any further issues arose. As of today, my account no longer reflects a suspension, and I haven’t needed additional follow-ups, which leads me to believe the matter has been fully resolved. Throughout my career, I have interacted with numerous government agencies. While most experiences have been positive, very few have been as exemplary as this one. Mrs. White’s diligence, professionalism, and personal attention went above and beyond. Her proactive follow-ups and commitment to ensuring my issue was resolved made me feel genuinely valued and reassured throughout the process. I cannot commend Mrs. White and the Augusta Social Security Administration office highly enough. Their service...

I had the smoothest experience applying for a replacement card with updated name. I made an appointment online for 2:30pm a few days prior. Upon arrival, I scanned my QR code into the kiosk and my name was called 10min later at 2:33pm. The black lady was so pleasant and nice. It took her less than 10min to process. I do have one big concern with the SSA processes in general. Since SS has a lot of seniors going for appts, there needs to be some phone support for them. It’s unreasonable to expect everyone to make appts online and check in via mobile. That’s not inclusive.

I had an appointment and still WAITING LONG PERIODS OF TIME !!! 0 stars if I could, the security guard was African American and plus sized she sat on her phone all while being angry loud & had a horrific attitude! She’s very hateful ! Why does she even work here ? Sad excuse for a person . Every patron that came in she yelled and acted as if everyone was bothering her. She’s a poor excuse for an employee. Yelling at the elderly and anyone she could. They really should replace her with someone who is going to be the head of ssa with an individual who has class and people skills. This is a government building with a low life working at the front ! What a JOKE !!!
