Scenthound Aiken

I have 3 dogs groomed each month at Scenthound. What a blessing this has been to have healthy pets in the house! The staff is friendly and gives true care to each dog.

I work in the veterinary field and can appreciate how labor intensive bathing and grooming dogs is. I took my dane for a bath. I was surprised when I asked what time I should come back they said 30 minutes. They did a wonderful job with my Buttercup, she was indeed ready in 30 minutes and everyone was so nice!

Just like any Chihuahua, she was on vibrate mode. But by the end, she was reasonably calm and happy she’s smell so nice and so fluffy. I signed up for the monthly visit.

I heard good things about it but I was left disappointed and will not come back. I booked a trial for my 2 dogs. They got me booked quickly and the appointment lasted less then 30 minutes. When I picked them up, I did not get a 6 point wellness check as advertised or even told how they did even when I asked (they didn't know) or gave me a receipt. I paid extra for a paw trim which they must have forgot to do most of it and they missed a few of my dogs nails with the nail trim too. They at least smelled fine but I was was left wondering if they got fully rinsed off. The dogs were definitely not happy with the experience at all, which is one of the reasons why I didn't ask them to take them back again to finish the job. Customer service was overall fine.

Love Scenthound. Great place. Friendly with dogs and people. Does great job even with grumpy dogs! Having Scenthound nearby makes me get my dogs checked and bathed at least once a month!
