Highly recommend Sanctum tattoos and Chip! He turned my want into a beautiful reality. I was nervous about getting color added but Chip reassured me I could and my tattoo turned out even more beautiful than I thought it could! Incredibly clean and professional establishment. Great atmosphere with the other artists as well. Will be going back again soon.

Jon is my long-time artist and he has started (one session to go for the background) another phenomenal tattoo!! Considerate and amazingly talented, Jon is who I trust when a tattoo is special to my heart.

I reached out to Sanctum with a couple reference photos and left with a wonderful tattoo today! Chris was the artist who took care of me and she was awesome to talk to. After going 8 years since my last tattoo, I was well overdue for a new one. Not having had one done in the Augusta area, I started doing research on local shops and getting input from friends who’d had work done. Sanctum was one shop recommended to me by multiple people. I sent a message on the site, and quickly got a response and an appointment to come in for a consult. From the minute you walk in the door, Sanctum just “feels” different from any of the other 3 shops I’ve been in back in Hawaii. The atmosphere is incredibly clean and welcoming; everything from the staff who greet you at check in, to just the overall vibe of the shop & the artists, told me I was in the right place. I could immediately see that everyone at Sanctum takes safety and cleanliness very seriously, which is obviously the first thing I look for when walking in to a new shop. I met with a Chip, co-owner with his wife Renae, and we worked out a simple design for a forearm dagger piece. Chip is very laid back, easy to communicate with, and an incredibly talented artist. After the main appointment and the follow up touch up, I was very pleased with the outcome, and ready to start on a bigger upper arm dragon tattoo, which also happens to be a coverup. Chip has since completed that piece, and we are looking forward to what’s next for me in 2025. I can’t say enough about how he took what I described and turned it into artwork beyond what I could have imagined. While I haven’t interacted much with the other artists, I follow the shop closely online and anything I’ve seen done by anyone associated with Sanctum appears to be outstanding work. I’m also hoping to get my wife in to see Renae soon for getting her eyebrows done with permanent makeup. I cannot recommend Sanctum enough. Chip, Renae, & everyone at Sanctum have made me feel at home every time I’ve come in. The icing on top for me is the work they also do in helping the shelter dog and cat community in the area. I drove almost 4 hours to get my work done here and it will always be 100% worth it. Ever since I started getting my work done with Chip, it has never failed to catch the eye of everyone I am around. Sanctum Tattoo Collective does something better than I’ve ever experienced which is provide a comfortable environment for people who are getting their first tattoo and for people who have a lot of tattoos. Walking through the doors is not intimidating at all, it’s actually extremely hospitable and gets you really excited to get your tattoo because the quality and environment is amazing. I would 10/10 recommend to all my friends, tatted or not, to come here.
