Safe Harbor Trade Winds

I started keeping my boat here the first of April. I've had a lot of boats and stayed at a lot of marinas over the years. I currently have another boat at a marina on the coast. So far I am very impressed. The marina is clean and well-kept. All of the staff - office and dock - go out of their way to accomodate and assist. Competent, professional and friendly. Nice job!

I needed a open slip for sailboat and I become a member at Safe Harbor Trade Winds marina a few months ago. It is a very well kept marina with nice amenities. The dock carts come in very handy. The staff are very professional and courteous. The day I launched, one even came to see if I needed anything. So far I am very pleased with the whole experience and looking forward to many great days out on the water!

The dock attendant is rude. When you show up to get gas, you have to call a number because the person “supposedly” working isn’t in the booth. When you call their office, they tell you they close at 5pm, when in Reality they close at 4:30. And if you call and they say they close at 5pm and show up at 4:34, the person in the booth comes out with an attitude and tells you they are closed and when you explain that you called and was told they close at 5pm, she then tells you that the office closes at 5, but they stop selling gas at 4:30. Just wanted to share that even though their hours are till 5pm, they really mean 4:30.

Everyone at this marina goes above and beyond to help the members and guests enjoy their boat and time at the lake. From the office to the boat wranglers to the gas dock - great bunch of people!
