Saw this on social media a while ago and went in during a business trip. I was not disappointed with the selection - looks like this place hasn’t bought anything new since the 90s. I talked with the employees behind the counter and they told me the owners own basically the whole block and they serve regulars from downtown. Their stock is close to dried up, though. At least in the men’s department what’s on the floor is what they have. But oh what a floor it is. They have knit and mercerized polos, Sergio Tacchini and Pierre Cardin tennis sets, old Fila gear, and American made shirts and shorts for days. Their outerwear is amazing too. New with tags varsity jackets from the 98 Olympics! Windbreakers from the LA Olympics! Crazy suede and shearling jackets! And of course more slacks, coats, Stacy Adams and Kangol than you can shake a stick at. If it was fly when Boyz II Men were on the radio, they got it. Prices are still retail level (the varsity jackets were $300) and they don’t have a lot of small/medium sized product left, but still well worth a visit if you love some vintage clothing. They also have a seamstress that does alterations!

Was followed around the store by the one employee. I was polite but she was not. I felt very uncomfortable because everywhere I stopped to look she was right behind me. Weird vibes so I left and she immediately went out to smoke, guess that's what she was waiting on.

I Heard About Ruben's Department Store On Instagram And Noticed That This Place Looks Like It Is From The 80s. I Got To See How This Store Is Still Selling Clothes From The 80s And Has All The Furniture And Decor From The 80s. This Place Looks Like It Has Been Untouched Due To The 80s Aesthetics And Clothes. If People Are Shopping And Want Interesting Fashion, I Would Recommend This Place For Them. Overall, This Is An Amazing Vintage Store In All Of Georgia

I don’t understand why men can shop today but women cannot. Just because they are “short staffed “. The two seated employees said the ladies section is closed today and encouraged me out of store as soon as I walked in. I just wanted to enjoy some quiet shopping on my day off and see if I could find a top. If they are truly too short staffed to help the only customer in the store then perhaps they should just be closed instead of making people feel bad. 😢
