If you have a dirty car definitely don’t waste your time going to Ray Ray’s car wash by Costco. After paying, I was told by a very professional employee, Julian, that his boss would not allow cars with any mud anywhere on them to be washed in the car wash. Seriously, I had run through a mud-puddle in a friend’s driveway; it was not as though I’d been out mudding. So I had to pull around, get out and literally cross over the wet and soapy car wash car entrance area and go inside for a refund. For $25 I would think they would spray the small amount of mud from my side wall before washing. Apparently that’s not in the plan at Ray Ray’s. Insult was added to injury when I asked the gentleman helping Julian apply the refund to my card if this was his business and he said, “Yes I’m one of the owners.” Nothing else. Just walked out the door. Didn’t even slow down. I later found out from a friend of mine who owns a business close by that this owner’s name is Gary. So instead of addressing me, he just walked past me and jumped in his golf cart to peruse and “manage” the establishment. On the way back to my car, Julian explained why his boss prefers to do business this way, indicating that it is to prevent damage to equipment and other vehicles etc. which is actually understandable to an extent. I’m a reasonable person, and was not behaving angrily at all. In my opinion however, it would have been appropriate for the manager to step in and give that explanation instead of snubbing me. Had he, taken two minutes, it may have soothed my irritation at the situation. Instead he came off as a jerk who was clearly too busy for the likes of me or my vehicle. So yeah. Note to self. Only “almost clean” cars serviced here.

Well, that was a wasted $35 on the touchless option. I've always either hand-wash or utilize the touchless option at carwashes if available. This time is looked at if there's just soup scum that was left to dwell way too long. Last handful of times I've had issues and employees just look aimless when addressed with the issues. My wheels got stained before and I was informed I'd get a call and sure enough, didn't get that call.

Great car wash. I like the fact that before you even enter the drive thru portion your car is throughly scrubbed by the courteous of staff members. After get scrubbed down you enter the car wash. This drive thru has to be one of the only ones that even washes the bird poo off the window. Lol its always that one spot on the window that most car washes can't reach. Ray Ray's had no problem. My bumblee left looking better then she came and that was the goal. I can't wait to come back and sign up for a membership.

Have been going here for a year now, by far best car wash in town… However, they’ll no longer wash vehicles with brush guards. I pulled up to go through like normal, and a gentlemen turned me away with haste saying I couldn’t go thought with my brush guard. Politely said I’ve been coming here for a while to which he stated this is a new policy bc it’s been tearing up their car wash brushes. I don’t think this is going to behoove them in the long run and will result in lost business which is highly unfortunate. Personal opinion, there are several other things on vehicles that can tear up car wash brushes. Feel as if they’d want to replace the brushes on a routine basis anyway just from general use in order to keep cars clean which they pride themselves with. What a shame, was considering a membership

This is the only good machine wash in Augusta. They actually scrub the car, the wash is very long so your car actually gets cleaned, and the staff actually gives a heck. So pretty much just get this one and you’re good.
