I am so grateful to have been referred to Posey’s Funeral Home when my husband passed away. He had a very fast and unexpected illness and my sister-in-laws and myself were heartbroken and in shock when we went to meet with Ben and Glynnis. They were so amazing and patient while guiding us through the entire process. Their compassion and attention to detail brought us a great deal of peace and comfort knowing that our brother and husband was handled with so much dignity and care.

As hard as it is to write this, as our experience with Posey’s was because we lost our sweet 5 yo son, Luca to AML, they deserve an amazing review. Every step of this terrible journey was made easier by the staff. When they came to pick our Luca up from our house after he passed, they were so respectful, yet I could hear their quiet sniffles. Something so small gave me such comfort as I could tell they understood just a little bit of what we were feeling. When meeting Brian to plan Luca’s viewing, they were real, honest, and compassionate on a very personal level. They were truly helping US. We told them we wanted Luca’s viewing to be “fun” and wanted people to see our son one last time. We wanted it real and comfortable. We wanted our other kids to be able to run around and play as we honored Luca, knowing he’d be running around playing too if he could physically be there. Posey’s outdid themselves. We showed up the day of his viewing and all the staff were wearing superhero t-shirts. They set up balloons and all of Luca’s favorite snacks for our guests. As hard and sad it is to go back to that day, Posey’s really made it special FOR Luca! 💙

Posey Funeral Directors walked me through every step and even made the appointment at the cemetery office for me. They even had a booklet for flowers. This took so much of the burden off of me during a time when I wasn't sure which way to turn. The service was customized for my husband and beautiful. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to all the staff. They are exceptional!

Posey’s served my family this weekend and I would recommend their firm to anyone during this difficult time in life. They showed our family the up most care and compassion. Brian allowed me private time with my grandmother before the funeral and was nice to my children while we were waiting for the visitation/funeral to begin. Alyss went above and beyond from the time of my grandmas passing till the day of the funeral. She was very detailed oriented, even putting a framed picture of my grandma and grandpa beside her casket, and this was an unexpected blessing to everyone. Rusty made my grandmother look very beautiful, her makeup and hair was perfect. I am so thankful to have these compassionate people in my community.
