Platts funeral home has served my family through 4 generations. Their unwavering support and compassion is a testament to the city of Augusta and beyond. There simply is no other that will share the burden of losing a loved one like they will. I have always counted on this family run funeral home to make the hardest of times a little easier.

Stevie was an amazing caregiver in our most vulnerable time. Our family was in shock at the sudden passing of our loved one, and she navigated our different personalities with grace, respect, and seemingly phenomenal patience. She understood how incredibly important it was for the details of our celebration of our loved one to be a absolutely correct, and we are enormously grateful. She went above and beyond in helping with memorial notes and even printed pictures for us! Thank you Stevie for making an awful time a little bit better! 5 stars, absolutely recommend!

Herb Gilstrap was very understanding and patient with me as we talked about my options of how to best serve my wife after her passing. He made the whole experience much easier to bear.
