One of the best, fastest ER visit I've ever had. They were working on a holiday, so I kinda expected attitude and reluctance. What I received was resort style attentiveness, and some of the friendliest folks in Augusta. They did everything short of a foot massage, and probably would've if i had asked. Maybe it's the excitement of Independence Day pay and no tax on overtime, or that new cologne i had on 😃 Whatever it was, they made my headache go away. I came there thinking that I'm entering the end stages of life. I left with a renewed sense of purpose. I even felt good enough to visit family on the way home🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 I'm taking better care of myself, because I hate CT scans and MRI machines 😬 But if I have an emergency situation again, I'll be back. Good work Piedmont, even though y'all wouldn't let me sleep 😄

The out patient infusion center has several outstanding nurses. Michelle. Lisa. Reagan and Kayla. They always go over and beyond . We are thankful to see them when we have to go. Also out patient department on the 2nd floor is always nice. Everyone so far has been great. No complaints.

Since Piedmont took over this place has gone down the drain. My husband was.just admitted Monday and got out Friday. Nurses cleaning poop and pee off of the floor with pads and I know they have protocols for this. Couldn't get housekeeping to clean. Husband couldn't bathe himself and wasn't helped at all the whole 4 days there. The Dr.s absolutely do not listen to the patients. Nurses dont.seem to care and the one's that do are overloaded. Don't bother going to patient advocate because she is useless in any situation. Husband had lunch at 11 am then did not get his dinner until 9:15 pm and I had to call and complain to get that and no he was not on any restrictions. Whoever is managing this place is a poor example of a manager and I've always heard if the ones at the top are bad it trickles down the line to the employees. Considering going to another hospital. I'm fee up.with Piedmont of August's Ga.

I have never witnessed such awful patient care as I have during my grandmother’s time at Piedmont Augusta Hospital (she is going on a week as of tomorrow). I haven’t been able to get it off my mind, so I decided to see if others had similar experiences—and it’s clear they have. It’s alarming to see a hospital receive consistent negative feedback for years with no visible improvements. Instead, the hospital responds with generic, copy-and-paste messages from someone behind a screen who likely goes home without worrying if their loved ones are being neglected in what should be one of the safest places for a sick person. As someone who graduated with a degree in hospital administration, I found what I witnessed completely unacceptable for any healthcare facility. Leadership should be ashamed, and accountability is long overdue. Change starts at the top, and the administrative staff needs to take responsibility. I strongly recommend meeting with Quint Studer (former president of Baptist Health in Florida) or at least reading his book to understand how to make meaningful improvements. I won’t stay quiet about this. Many patients don’t have family members advocating for them or witnessing what happens during their stay, like I did for my grandmother. I’ve already urged my friends and family to avoid this hospital at all costs, as I believe their health would be at greater risk here. Thankfully, my mom is a nurse of 30 years herself and stepped in when Piedmont failed continuously. I truly do not think my grandmother would be here today if it weren’t for her background knowledge as a nurse. My mom spent her days getting food for my grandmother because it never came or was cold/inedible by delivery time, tracking down results from scans and labs because no one ever followed up, pleaded several times for someone to page the on call doctor since stats were dropping and she almost coded, and changed and showered her each day. The moldy shower in her room was the least o...

I visited the Piedmont Augusta Georgia Heart tower today 5/11/ 2025 and had the most amazing experience. Shannon a young lady wearing burgundy scrubs was so helpful, patient and kind to me and my 91 year old daddy. She went above and beyond to direct me to patient parking and stayed with my daddy while I went to get my car. She truly represented your facility with excellent customer service. Wishing her continued success and growth. Thanks Frankie
