What an absolute gem this place is to enjoy. Nice 5 mile loop with soooo much to see. Gators, ibis, indigo bunting, little blue heron, green heron, greebe, whistle ducks, anhinga, osprey and so much more. Definitely recommend if you’re a birder.

Nice nature park. Lots of walking trails, boardwalk, had park for children and restrooms. It was hot out so bring water. We didn’t see any gators but lots of birds, turtles, and butterflies. Will visit again, next time by bike!

This is a great nature lover's trail in Augusta. Love the scenery, 5+ mile walks and swampy appearance. But caution, you do see alligators and may even encounter one on your path. We saw a big one!!!

Normally a very safe park, while I was arriving there today owners of several cars had called police as their vehicles had been broken into. I would suggest leaving valuables out of sight and even better not in your car. Forest trails are still partially blocked by Helene damage, but were good to visit. Birdwatching, walking, regular community events are available as well.

Favorite place. Snakes are rare to see but are there. Tons of gators, turtles more in the fall. Kids love coming on hikes with me as well.
