Oconee Wild Watersports

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Cathy, David, and Jeremy at Oconee Wild Watersports! My family came to stay in a rental house during spring break, we rented kayaks one day and a large boat another day. Both experiences were perfect. David and Jeremy ensured we all made it in an out of our kayaks safely and reminded dry. They were friendly and reassuring for the ones in our party who hadn’t kayaked before. They also ensured our boat rental was spotless, and provided clear docking instructions since we were driving the boat to our rental house dock. They were top notch gentlemen and we really appreciated them! Cathy shared her passion for delicious sub sandwiches with us, and boy did it enhance the taste of them! Highly recommend giving the Philly cheese steak one a try, but you won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu. Then there’s the custom souvenirs, which were superb quality, and again you could feel the passion from Cathy in their craftsmanship. She happily made custom shirts for us which we will treasure forever, and we know will last even longer. We plan to return to Lake Oconee in the future and a big part of that is because of how welcoming and caring this crew was. Thank you all!

We booked the tri-poon 150 and a sofa tube. We went in person on a Monday and booked it for Wednesday. It was a beautiful boat, almost brand new. There were four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) and there was so much space to spread out. It was very easy to operate and dock, especially not being very experienced boaters. Would highly recommend them. They were so nice, family owned and great prices. We ordered subs the morning of pickup and they delivered them to our boat in an insulated bag. One of the best subs we've had in a long time - they fresh bake their own bread every morning!

We had a one week visit to Lake Oconee and rented a boat for six days. All the necessary skis, knee boards, wake boards and life vests were included. We had some minor issues but the personnel provided prompt service. We’re very pleased with the boat and support and will be renting boats from them during future visits.

Pat and Terry were incredibly helpful, kind, and efficient. The boat they gave my family for the day was clean, new, and operated well! I am 100% coming back with friends this summer!

Great experience!! Everyone was very helpful & accommodating. The boats were in great condition. Will definitely rent from here on our next trip. Do not miss the delicious subs that are made on site. It's a great option to grab before you get on the boat.
