Absolutely love this place! Great quality meat and really awesome staff. Cory was super helpful as I was there to pick up some meat for my professional chef husband. He was such a gentleman and carried my heavy order to my car. But man, the ribeye that I had that night? *chefs kiss* The marbling was perfect! Cory even mentioned I can put in special orders if I needed to in the future - anywhere from SRF brisket to a whole hog. They even have these 3 foot long meat sticks for my puppers! They have a well stocked selection of prepared food for those who are too busy to cook. Totally recommend pig candy (pork belly), armadillo eggs (iykyk), and the loaded baked potatoes. My favorite local butcher shop!

Fantastic selection of everything you need! I usually stop by when I need a tritip, and they always have great cuts. I recently received a gift card and decided to splurge on some tenderloin. When I came by the shop I was a little hesitant on my choice so Corey and the staff took time to talk me through my selection. As Corey was cutting I asked him for some tips on my sous vide for the tenderloins and he chatted me up with his favorite preparations. He offered to vacuum seal the bag and even threw some seasoning and butter in the bag giving me one less thing to do. I’m a sucker for a business that goes above and beyond what I expected. Heck, they might do that for every single person, but my experience felt unique and was exactly what I want when I come to a butcher. Thank you for the great customer service, I will be back!

Absolutely loved this place. I needed meat for my beef stew. The butcher made a suggestion, offered to cut it for me and packaged it perfectly. He answered all my questions, was kind gentlemanly. My stew was fantastic. They have so much to offer. From meat to wines, to frozen prepared foods to wonderful spices. Highly recommended!!!!

I paid $127 for 2lb of prime filet to make a Beef Wellington. I cooked it sous vide with their twine intact and as I cut the twine to prepare to pan sear it, I discovered that the filet is literally an asymmetrically split piece of beef with one loose strip that runs the entire length of the cut. This completely defeats the purpose of paying for a single cut of filet and I would have had better results at my grocery store. This is extremely disappointing, as my two previous experiences here have all been exceptional. But for the price paid, I can't believe this is the cut I received.

I absolutely love New York Butcher Shoppe in Evans!!!!! I’ve had delicious steaks, tasty homemade sausages (so many different flavors), amazing meal prepped items, and delectable desserts (brownie is my favorite). Thank you for always taking care of me! ESPEN AND HIS TEAM ARE PHENOMENAL!!!
