National Car Rental

New disappointment on June 9, I was over charged for milage , they continue to make me have to pay and ask customer service for refund just because. I have been renting all year around, all around the states and by far I am sorry to say this is my home base and the most inconvenience I get from national rental locations. Depending on the mood of the staff, if they have a good mood, they give you a nice vehicle if they don’t have a good mood they give you anything

From pickup at the airport to return, the process was super simple. Rental was a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander with like 200 miles on it. Was 4x4 and had apple carplay and safety tech. Was perfect for my trip. Booked thru priceline. 10/10

I've never had an issue with National before but this time, they really disappointed. I got into Augusta, GA later in the evening and, although I had reserved a car well in advance, I was told no car was available. They gave all the cars they had to other people earlier when they had a few cars come back damaged. I find it hard to believe that they only had exactly enough cars for those that reserved. I had to get a Lyft to my hotel 20 minutes away and then back to the airport to pick up a car the next morning early which took an hour out of my day. They did reimburse me for the Lyft rides but they could have done more. I suspect they just rented cars to whomever came in if they had them and didn't bother to make sure they saved them for those of us who reserved. Very disappointed this time around.

National is always consistent and dependable in providing high value quality services. In my opinion the best value car rental service in the industry.

It’s just renting a car, nothing special but the staff at the Augusta airport for national were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. You can’t ask for much more. As long as their prices stay competitive with other rental places, there is no reason to not use national.
