10 Stars!!! The Curl Whisperer studio is the must try place for all women with curls. From tight coils to lose curls of all hair types, Millie is very knowledgeable and informative. She was the first stylist that I have ever gone to that asked so many questions to get to know my personal hair journey. She took her time to explain each process and why she was applying certain products to my hair to increase my overall understanding. Not to mention the studio was clean, she showed up on time, and we laughed and joked the entire appointment! Her friendly demeanor and personality was infectious. So not only did I gain necessary hair knowledge, I received a BOMB wash and go and curly cut, I enjoyed my experience, and found a curl specialist! Thank you Millie for your hard work and dedication to your craft. I will definitely be back!

Curl Whisperer Studio is black-owned business! Millie is a very personable and professional hair stylist! She is VERY knowledgeable in her techniques and products. This was my first time ever going to a salon and she exceeded my every expectation. I received a curly cut, blonde balayage and style. She knew exactly what I was looking for and executed graciously even when my hair lifted a funky color (due to previous color not her services) she was able to accommodate me immediately and get me to the beautiful blonde I hoped for! I have fine curly hair but a lot of it. She recognized this and my multiple textures immediately which instantly made me so comfortable trusting her throughout the process! The first 2 photos were my before and the last two were my after! EDIT: I have added more photos as I have continued to go to Millie and she has got my hair to a place I absolutely LOVE!

Millie did a fantastic job of cutting my thick, curly hair. It's a challenge finding a stylist that really understands curls, so I am very happy to have met Millie. Love my haircut. I would highly recommend her services.

I loved my experience with Millie! I booked a new client package for my first visit. I had already done the 30 day hair detox and was in SeeSomeCurls so I recommend doing that to get the most out of your first appointment and prepare yourself. She thoroughly explained what she was doing and why throughout the appointment. We talked about my hair and she took time to show me the best techniques for my styling. You know how some people are obviously uncomfortable or unfamiliar with tight curly hair? Not Millie! I had total confidence in her skills. I left with the best wash and go of my life that lasted really well in the humidity, and I’m much more confident with my hair now. The cut experience was my favorite part; amazing. You can see in the pics; It changed my whole look. I will never neglect getting maintenance cuts now! I was literally a second away from locing my hair because it had been so unpredictable, uneven, and dehydrated and this pulled me back. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

This was the best salon experience I've had in a long time! Millie has a refreshing personality and so much valuable knowledge on natural hair. I bought the new client package which came with the cut it kinky haircut and let me tell you my hair finally has SHAPE and BOUNCE. I was so close to getting a perm but I have fallen in love with my natural hair again. She did the best she could with the current state of my hair and went above and beyond what I expected.
