Our ladies group has the best experience at Horse Creek Tavern tonight! It’s a laid back environment with excellent food at great prices! Most of us ordered the smash burger, dressed different ways, and we were all happy with our choices. The fries were good, as were the onion rings. The drink prices were very reasonable, too. Our server, Olivia, was the epitome of what one would expect in a server - friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the interesting and inviting choices!

Course is coming around after the new owners took over. New owners are putting in the effort needed to get this course back to its glory days. It’s not an easy feat when you get a course in the shape that they received this one. So my reason for 5 stars is I see the effort they are putting in and how they made great improvements to the condition of the course. It takes time to rebuild the course I say in the next year or so this will be one of the best looking courses in South Carolina.

I don’t usually do reviews but this needs to be said. This course would be absolutely reasonable to play at $25-$30 weekend or not. We paid $48 on a weekend to play and this course is NOT in the shape to be paying that much. 85% of the tee boxes are in questionable condition, the fairways are pretty much all patchy and the greens have so mush Poa Annua that you ball bounces on even the shortest puts and makes the greens roll inconsistently slow. I get some of these issues just happen at courses sometimes and when they do they should pro rate the fees for that. Only reason I’d say it’s not a 1 star is the course is designed super well and the gentleman in the pro shop was kind.

Played this course while traveling. Just walked in and they accomidated me. Nice course. Greens have poa anna as it's early in the season which affected putting but the course layout was really nice. Played with a young member who could advise me on locations and enjoyed the round.

I am going to give a 5 Star ONLY because of the manager,Rachael. We arrived early, checked in (Christian was great), got our cart and proceeded to the 1st tee and that was as far as we got. There was a large group after us and their organizer made it a point to let us k ow he had a large group of 24 and we needed to keep up and on pace. He even had the nerve to tell me to start at the 150 mark. Well he ruined our day. I was so aggravated by this person that it ruined what was supposed to be a fun day do myself and my husband. We had our card refunded and packed up to go. That was when Rachael approached us and apologized on behalf of the member and said that the owner was aware and is handling this person…She is the only reason why we will try to play there again….So until next time….
