Meybohm Property Management

Latest: Dishwasher has been broken for over a week now!!!! We have contacted Meybohm 4 times as of today 6/15/22. Rent is $2000/mt. We wish we could give NEGATIVE stars. Been living in this rental over 3 years now. Called 15 times during the 3 years for maintenance issues. Each call had to be placed 2, 3 to 4 times. A/C leak took 2 months to fix - leaving a huge (2' x 4') water stain on the ceiling downstairs. Refrigerator water leak took 6 weeks to repair - causing laminate floor to buckle which has never been replaced. Fireplace starter not working for 2 years and counting!! Broken kitchen drawer - fixed but, keeps breaking. MOLD ON THE EXTERIOR BRICK BECAUSE GUTTERS ARE CLOGGED AND NEVER CLEANED SO RAIN GUSHES OVER THEM. Oh look, I found a pine tree and mold growing in the gutter! Each issue cost $85 OUT OF MY pocket - reimbursed 45+ days. EXTREMELY POORLY MAINTAINED PROPERTIES. EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATION. RENTAL OFFICE LOCKED SO NO ONE CAN GET IN UNLESS THEY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. BE CAREFUL - THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE TENANT. BTW rent is $2000/mt. Try your best to find another rental company. Let me know if you need a list.

I moved in 2846 Walton way apt 10. Worst rental experience ever. Communication between the property manager (Greg) and owner, terrible and nonexistent. All maintenance has to be approved by the owner and takes months. There was a bad bug problem and I was told I had to handle it (ants and roaches in the kitchen). The ceilings leaked in the kitchen and living room on multiple occasions from the upstairs bathroom. A consistent problem from month 2 until month 11 of a year long lease. I was told not to use the bathroom causing the current leaks (so not getting what I’m paying for). They have a list of fees and obligations at move out (200 to rekey, 200 for carpet cleaning) and have found reasons to keep my entire 1195 security deposit for normal wear and tear (painting etc. ). And still billed me a difference. The layout was not the most functional but I needed to move quick. The whole experience was uncomfortable and my concerns for mold due to the continuous leaking ceiling was ignored. Wish I had looked them up on the BBB. They’re money hungry and do not care about their tenants.

We bought our first home with the help of Meybohm back in 1998. Our realtor then was like a caring mother figure to two newly married kids! She was so wonderful and helped us with everything. After a few years, we had to move out of the state and put our home up for rent. Meybohm's property management team through the years have helped us take care of every issue that has come along. They have consistently been able to keep the house rented and find new renters when they do move out. The vendors that Meybohm uses have also been outstanding and ready to work with us on any project. We continue to be super impressed with Meybohm now after all of these years! They do a fantastic job!

I have been using Meybohm for 5 years now to manage a property I purchased while stationed at Fort Gordon. I have had nothing but great, involved and courteous service during my time with them. I have more recently had a bad experience with one of my tenants and my property manager Mrs. Jessica Hatcher has helped me every step of the way. She has been the face of my Meybohm experience for a long time now and always putting the property first as her and her colleagues keep up with yearly inspections, work orders and communication back to me. I can honestly say that Meybohm was recommended to me before I went with them and I have never regretted it!

Robert Smith, with Meybohm Property Management, handled the process of renting our property professionally. Being first time rental property owners, he listened to our questions and concerns and worked very diligently in getting us great tenants. He was available to us throughout the process and responded promptly to our requests. We would definitely recommend him to our friends and use him again in the future.
