This place really helps the community out. And did a lot more before the lady that Hunter was getting done dirty by the people that were staying there. But it still open during the day and gives people a place to go and it hook some up with some hot meals. Places like this make me believe in God still.

This is my favorite thrift shop. They have amazing prices and they are always willing to help. Staff is always personable and caring. They are some of the nicest people you will meet. Also I love their dog. She’s such a sweetheart and I look forward to seeing her every time. Can’t recommend this place enough. They are a bit disorganized but you can’t beat their prices. My favorite thrift shop in Augusta!

I came here for a drink as its hot outside n while i was trying to sign in i was asked if i had a bra on and if i had another top to cover up with. And ummmm welll no i dont cuz i dont have a lot of money n this is just a dollar general tank top and covers everything. Even my tattoos. This lady was just in the mood to insult a white women with tank top on... rude.... I'll keep making this review till some one fixes this issue... yeah I'm white with a tank top n shorts on.... just an average person....thirsty....n they were 0 help. More concerned with my shirt then a drink for me. so confussed...confused....confused confused... also been here many times n never had someone be so loud n rude about my top... or anything.... maybe let someone who is not racist...or whatever she was trying to accomplish... just rude... had to go to circle k to scratch some change together for my drink.

Kinda dark and cluttered. More like a scavenger hunt coming here. I feel claustrophobic coming in here. The first time I came in here, I took advantage of their bag deal where you pay $10 for however much they can stuff in a bag they provide. I ended up with some okay but really random stuff. I tried to come back in again to try my hand at scoring some dresses, but I didn't see anything that caught my eye. The other sections were too stuffed and overwhelming to sort through. I left and probably won't be back. I think I've outgrown shops like this and prefer shops where the proprietor has a good eye for fashionable items in good condition.

It's a shame and a crime that the city of Augusta blames Mercy Ministries for homelessness in the city. There is the claim that if Mercy Ministries did not exist there would be no homelessness in Augusta. How disingenuous and cynical.
