Maude Edenfield Park

I like this park as a simple, close to downtown, play option for the kids. Tennis courts look to be in good repair and there's a covered pavilion-stage-looking structure as well. A group of kids were practicing on the basketball courts and that equipment seemed like it was in decent shape too. My 10 year old said he would only give it 3 stars because they don't have any big kid swings. Lol The landscaping is average, but I really enjoyed the wild flowers growing where grass would typically be.

A great place to play and relax.....kid friendly

The park is extensive but I was there to play tennis. The courts are newly resurfaced. We played at nights and the lighting was above average (nearly excellent) compared to other courts in the area. If you like tennis these courts are free and in good condition.

Nice little park. Good place to play tennis, but be warned there are cars driving past you as you play. So if the sound of cars is slightly annoying or will mess up your game stay clear. If not, disregard this last sentence.

Nice venue for a Thursday evening in the park. Really enjoyed Karen Gordon and Garden City Jazz.
