Lucy's Laundry

Machines are dirty and most are broken. Sadly, staff on duty were listless and bored looking. No one cleaned. The floor was littered with refuse. 3/4 of the machines don't work. If there's air conditioning, I couldn't feel it.

I came in on Monday to drop my clothes off for laundry service and when I came in I told the cashier (Jim) that it needed it urgently done within 24-48 hours. Jim told me to come back the next day in the afternoon and it will be ready. I was busy the next day so I couldn’t back until Wednesday afternoon. I come in to pick up my laundry only to discover it was never even started. The individual at the counter said they weren’t notified that it was urgent but Jim and stated that if I still wanted it done I’d have to wait until the following Monday. A whole week to wash 8 pounds of clothes? Lol a joke. Super unprofessional, didn’t receive an apology or anything. I was met with nonchalance and I will never return.

Kinda smallish for a laundry Matt and crammed together. Not much move around space. It did have a really big 72lbs dryer....but it didn't work. I think the best thing about it were the 2 massage chairs that were in the front. Except I couldn't figure out how to start/work them. No I structions posted anywhere around. Plus they were THE ONLY places to sit. It was roughly 10pm when I went and the only bathroom the place had was locked up tight with a sign stati g that it was only open from 9am til 5pm. The whole place was a little rough-looking but hey, it's a public laundry Matt. What do you expect. The machines worked really well, and for the most part surprised me with how fast they got my loads washed and dried. I had like 4 or 5 normal loads to wash and got all of it done in around an hour. That's folding time included. I'm pretty sure I will be going back. And would definitely recommend if you ain't worried about high class appearance.

Needs maintenance. Took 2 hours to do what normally takes an hour at another of their locations. Had to rewash items from two different loads, came out of dryers with spots. Machines were dirty and dryers didn't heat up enough - probably need lint cleaned out. Go to their location on Sherwood Dr.

Lucy's Laundry was such a huge help when my husband was at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. Pick up & delivery were always done in a timely manner. Ethan and his very professional staff helped make our adjustment to the situation much easier.
