MORE REASONS NOT TO SOP AT LOWES!!!! i knew better than to return to Lowes in North Augusta. Thought i would save a few minutes instead of driving to HOME DEPOT. Cost me an extra hour. The place is a trash dumpster. No carts, no customer service, charged $50 for a $15 pair of gloves, then had to wait in line for 30 minutes to get them to take them off........Do yourself a favor... GO TO HOME DEPOT!!!!!!Complete lack of customer service and organization. The store is a junkyard.you can't safely get into the store for all of the crap stacked from the walls to the roadway outside of the front of the store. To get to the very small opening to the front door you have to walk down the middle of the roadway where the traffic flies through the parking lot. I almost got run over twice trying to get to the front door. Once inside the junk shop, the products are not kept orderly or stocked, and if they do have the item you are looking for, you can't get to it for all of the junk, boxes, ladder carts that are blocking the isles and shelves. Literally a junkyard. They need some real management and employees that actually care. Organization is completely missing. The lack of customer service and rudeness of employees seems to be running throughout the franchise and not just at the North Augusta location. We have a corporate account at Lowes and I have informed all of our employees to now avoid Lowes unless absolutely necessary. We also have commercial account at Home Depot and are now taking the majority of our business there. If Home Depot opened in North Augusta, I don't think Lowes would survive.

A lot of negative reviews for N Augusta and Aiken SC Lowe’s. I travel across country 4 times a year and it’s that way mostly everywhere. Particularly the young just have no clue about customer service. However in areas where more upscale homes and clean town streets there are good staff and intelligent service. I suppose it has to do with upbringing in the home. Folks won’t know unless they are taught at home how to be of value.

Inventory is NOT correct, put an order in online as there was 29 vertical fence panels in stock online, placed the order and drove 30 minutes to get there and they only have 3 in stock. They can't transfer the order to a store that has them in stock nor buy the extra 18 from another store with them in stock. Their only solution was to refund the money which will take 2-3 days, that's it. Nothing more, sad when you allow online orders but can't scan items correctly or perform cycle counts to keep inventory correct. Absolutely hate this experience, would not recommend, probably better to get wood from a mill than there.

I try to avoid this store. It has the worst parking lot out of all the home centers in Augusta, N Augusta, and Aiken. If you have to bring a large buggy of supplies to your car, you need to strap it down. The parking lot has the texture of cobblestone. It is beyond repair. They also have an issue replenishing stock in the hardware section. The other Lowe’s stores in the area are far superior and our regular stops.

OmG!!! I can't believe the lack of customer service at these stores. Both Bobby Jones and Orangeburg SC store have given me the run around for a week and a half now and I'm going to end up losing work due to their incompetence and lack of care for their jobs. I shouldn't be so stunned seeing how I hear nothing but problems other have had with them. A simple on time delivery, or straight follow through would have helped immensely as well as save me from losing out on a $4k job. That might be a drop in the bucket for Lowe's but it's a good hit for a small business.
