Choosing Angel to partner along side us for the birth of our first born was one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy. She was kind, compassionate, encouraging, and the absolute best support during labor and postpartum care. She was available when I needed to ask questions through my pregnancy and after the birth. I went into labor in the middle of the night and Angel was still responsive to my texts/calls. She even made it to the hospital after just finishing another birth. I immediately felt relief and comfort upon her arrival! She helped me labor by offering support and suggesting numerous recommendations during the pushing stage. She made sure I was hydrating and resting when I could. Unfortunately, my labor took a turn when my blood pressure and baby’s heart rate dropped and I had to have an emergency c-section. However, Angel was there to comfort- not just me, but to my spouse and family members. It was so helpful to have someone there for them. She was allowed to come in the operating room after the birth and it was Angel who suggested bringing our son over to my chest- which she knew meant a lot to me! She even stayed with our baby afterwards so my husband could stay with me while they finished the operation. The immediate days and weeks to follow were a little challenging because of breast feeding issues, but Angel was still on call for us and helped lead us to two amazing lactation consultants. It was also nice to have her visit us at home once we were all settled in! We simply cannot imagine that time, before, during, and after, without Angel being there. I would recommend her to anyone who is considering a doula and I will never have another baby without a doula present! In fact, when we have more children and Angel is still working, we would love for her to partner with us again!

I am so grateful for Angel’s support before, during and after labor. She was there for me from the moment we spoke on the phone for a consult to beyond my delivery. She is caring, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable and I seriously don’t know how I would have managed without Angel for my delivery. I really wanted an all natural birth, but had to be induced for medical reasons. Angel gave me the guidance I needed during my labor and was such a helpful resource to my husband. She showed him how to support me without overstepping, so I had 2 amazing team members to help me through labor. Angel also taught me a lot about informed consent for procedures and how to pause and take a step back to think about whether or not I wanted certain interventions. She’s also incredibly easy to talk to so it felt like having a good friend at my bedside during labor. Her calm, easygoing demeanor made me feel very comfortable during a time that isn’t quite so comfortable! I 100% recommend hiring Angel as your doula!

I could write an entire book about the incredibly positive and empowering experience of having Angel by my husband’s and my side during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. I am a first time mom and was pretty nervous about the prospect of giving birth. I also do not have the benefit of living near family and knew that having a doula to assist in this journey would help ease my anxiety. From the very first phone call I made to her when I was 8 weeks pregnant I knew Angel was a gem of a person. She is so very kind and compassionate, always taking ample time to speak with me and answer all of my questions. I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She provided so many helpful resources that allowed me and my husband to become educated about what to expect during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. When it came time to labor and deliver, Angel was absolutely instrumental in helping me achieve my goal of an unmedicated birth. I was not fearful and did not feel overwhelmed thanks to her presence and gentle guidance during the whole process. I had a relatively quick birth and while many factors contribute to that aspect of labor, I do think that thanks to Angel’s expertise in fetal positioning and her calm reassuring nature, I was able to let my body do its job, free from worry, and this allowed baby to come into the world unhindered. Angel knew exactly what to do during labor and delivery to keep me calm and help me feel empowered every step of the way. My husband also benefited from having a doula with us. He was given tips and techniques to best support me and was told what to expect during the whole labor and delivery process. Because of this, I didn’t have to worry about possibly overwhelming him during the birth, I knew he was also going to be supported right alongside me. I could just focus on getting baby out! I honestly don't know what we would have done without Angel helping us out during our pregnancy and birth. She was an incredible source of information for us, and helped guide us through the process of switching hospitals late in our pregnancy. As the father, Angel helped prepare me for ways to help out during the labor and delivery so that I was able to help in constructive ways. Angel's rock steady confidence and guidance through the pregnancy and birth allowed us to have the experience we wanted and helped us to fully stay present and enjoy bringing our first daughter into the world! I just wish we had hired her earlier in the pregnancy. We are for sure calling her when we have more children! I cannot recommend her enough.

Working with Angel of Little Arrows was the best decision I could have made to achieve my natural birth I had planned, even when I quickly tried to change my mind. Her suggestions and coaching helped me go from transition to delivering so quick that I couldn’t get the epidural I was yelling for! We had built such a great rapport up to that point that I trusted her instincts and direction. Angel is such a great advocate for her clients and our family in making sure we are fully informed in our options. When it came to prenatal advice, she was right there as often as I needed her and continues to be even postpartum! We are very lucky to have met and worked with Angel! Only downfall is that I’m not having another baby!!
