I had read reviews and noted Lawson a had been in business For a good long while, so I decided to hire them to install an updated system in my van. I wanted to include adding a subwoofer and a backup camera. I hired these “professionals”, as I wanted a seamless and aesthetically pleasing install. I received none of that. First, i had to replace the sub, as the box was too big(it didn’t fit behind the seat where the installer installed it), my seat would not go back far enough, and was tearing up the leather of the seat. Initially they’d installed it where the wiring was visible(aesthetics !!) so, I had them correct that on the spot. I went ahead and contacted crutchfield, and they sold me a much better sounding smaller footprint all in one sub/amp. Which I installed, now my seat can go all the way back. They ran the backup camera wiring under the vehicle, even zip tied it to my leaf spring assembly! Plus, I’d asked them to install the camera looking down from the top of the van.. so I can have a look down view of my attached carrier, but they decided to drill a hole in my bumper and installed it there. Now, i can’t see what I need to see, so I will need to completely relocate that wiring…requiring removing many interior panels(which is the very reason why I paid $2000 so I don’t have to). Basically they did the easiest thing possible. I am having to fix all their shortcuts. If you’re looking for shortcuts and halfway installs, this is your place. The only full service item you get will be a full service bill, they are not cheap.

When purchasing equipment I wasn’t informed that all features of the equipment were not included and had to schedule another appointment only to not have all of the work completed. Sloppy workmanship in the vehicle. Wires hanging down, scratches from the installation. Not a professional job to say the least. Poor customer service. 👎

Upgrades people! My 92’ Volvo 240 Wagon is booming with the new system! It was cheaper than I thought it would be and it didn’t take long to install. They helped me find what I wanted and recommended a great subwoofer deal. They also fixed a problem I had later free of charge, also quick. I would recommended for anyone looking for upgrades or needing a problem fixed.

Went in and got immediate service. Found a unit that works for me. Install is $60/hour, which is pretty good these days. Install is scheduled best time for me. Hope all goes well.

Had a full system installed along with new speaker wiring and they did an amazing job even fit some 6.5 rear speakers as opposed to the stock 4x6s which greatly improved sound quality. Highly recommend!
