We cannot THANK the team at Kiokee Creek Kennels enough! We sent our spunky but loving eight month old English Springer Spaniel Nolie for their onsite obedience training and boarding. The team was always willing to answer any questions, send updates and pictures, and openly communicate how her training was progressing. From the beginning they asked us what we expected out of her and reassured us that they would do everything they could to meet our expectations and more. When it was time to get Nolie now almost a year old, back the team took time with my husband to show him everything they had worked on, and how to continue her training at home in a different environment. Since we have gotten Nolie home she has still been our spunky and loving baby girl but with the obedience training from the Kiokee Creek Kennels team she is the most amazing family dog that we could ask for. The team is even willing to meet with us for future training in different environments so we can maintain and evolve her training on deeper levels as she grows and gets older and as our family dynamics change too. The team at Kiokee Creek Kennels took amazing care of Nolie and we are more than pleased with the training and care our dog received while she was there. I had the pleasure of working with Kiokee Creek Kennels to train my 7-month-old German Shepherd, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. From the very first communication, the trainers were responsive, professional, patient, and clearly had a deep understanding of what kind of behavior we expected from our pup. (We’ve opted for their onsite boarding training) My German Shepherd, who was initially a bit stubborn and easily distracted, made huge progress in just a 3 months. They customized the training plan to fit his energy and temperament, making each session engaging and successful. The trainer also provided valuable tips for handling common issues, which made a big difference when we brought the pup home . What I appreciated the most was the clear communication to both the dog and us as owners. We sent our sweet River for the board and train and we have been very pleased through the whole experience. Cody was always very quick to respond to all of our questions and very informative. Cody and Kiokee Creek Kennels are absolutely amazing! Cody and his team worked with my German Shepherd Pup Acy, allowing her to gain off leash knowledge and skill. While it may be difficult leaving you pup for board and train for 2 months Cody and his team are top tier with their knowledge and communication throughout the entire experience. Six months after we lost our adored male Cocker Spaniel, Toby, of 14 years, we made a decision to adopt a dog from a local shelter. A one-year old Beagle mix, Wyatt, won us over and now he has his forever home. We knew in order to make Wyatt the best he could be, he would benefit going through a professional training program. We called Kiokee Creek for help and Cody Turner knocked on our door in mid-October. He started coming to our home once a week training Wyatt to be a more obedient pet. He would give us homework assignments so we could reinforce the training throughout the week. It has been amazing to watch Wyatt's transformation over the last four weeks from a hyper, strong-willed animal to an obedient, loving dog, obeying commands and always eager to please. We are so grateful to Cody for his dog training expertise and teaching us to train Wyatt. We can't wait for the end result!
