Houndslake Country Club

The course layout is pretty nice, with many challenging holes. Unfortunately the conditions leave a lot to be desired. And the cart paths are terrible. They do have a nice clubhouse with many room options for large or small groups and parties.

Houndslake Country Club is absolutely beautiful. It has stunning views of lakes and mature trees, as well as incredibly manicured lawns. The golf course was challenging, but also appropriate for those who may be new to the game. The hills create a feeling of seclusion, but the location couldn't be more convenient. The golf carts are newer and very well maintained, and the price to play honestly feels like a steal. The water coolers at the tees were very clean, and the water was fresh and cold. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I are planning our next visit already!

The old sad man there needs to chill out and get a life. We played our first hole and he rides up and tells us we need to hurry up and people are behind us. Nobody was behind us. Then he goes and says we shouldn't be playing out of 3 bags when we had 4 guys. Who cares?? We were playing off best ball and took us maybe 8 mins first hole and had a guy that never played. So what? I paid you old man. Mind your business. I told you if they were waiting they could pass but nobody was there. We paid to go out and have fun but you wanna ride around and stare and be rude, what a joke. The greens were trash anyways, get better.

Greens, tee boxes,and fairways are in terrible shape. For this course 48.00 is very unreasonable. This course used to be one of the best in the area.

This course has a nice design with varied terrain giving many uphill or downhill lies. The hole in the picture is a big downhill from the tee box with the fairway funneling around the lake at the bottom. The head pro and staff are always friendly.
