Horizon Senior Village

Was on the list 4 years, never got a call back than they rented to a friend of mines family member not on the list at all, they have had a bed bug problem so am grateful now I didn't get the call back.

My mother lives there it is nice but the management group could be better. They have consistently gone up on the rent but don’t make the proper repairs. They have lease renewal policies that need to be explained in writing verses just telling a Senior to fill it out. They are overly concerned about what is someone’s savings account and what a person has instead of making sure the apartment is not losing heat. It is as If they are trying to account for every cent that the tenants have. If you live on the lower level you can hear everything that someone does on top of you. They say they are affordable but at the rate the rent is increased seniors will have to move out. This is an update. Yes the apartments look nice and it is relatively safe. They do have a drainage issue that management is aware of but hasn’t been fixed. They are more concerned in raising the rent .

Run...apartments are descent but management is not good. Train your managers so they know what to do. I'm so disgusted with this place. Waiting on my refund deposit which by law is 30 days. Manager did paperwork wrong so now I'm still waiting and it's been 3 weeks after the 30 days. They want your rent pronto but when they owe you it's like screw you. Never again.

I loved this place, very clean and kind people everywhere. I hope to live here in the near future. The waiting list is 3 years, maybe a good time to add on more apartments. Love, love, love this place.
