Holiday Inn Express & Suites Augusta W - Grovetown by IHG

My family and I have been staying at Holiday Inn Expresses for as long as I can remember, with our last few experiences being less than stellar. That is until our stay at this Holiday Inn Express location. The staff were all so friendly, the rooms and bathrooms were all so clean, and the breakfast was amazing. The last Holiday Inn we stayed at, the coffee was basically just hot bean water and the eggs were watery. This one here in Grovetown had amazing coffee and the eggs were perfectly done! Thank you for giving me faith in Holiday Inn again!

Services was on point. Tobias was very helpful and so nice. The location of this area is very great because it’s not by traffic so it’s pretty quiet. Which makes me love it even more. The room and bathroom was great as well. And restaurants are l around so u dont have to drive far. I love it! And plan on coming back☺️☺️☺️

Really Clean bathrooms, polite staff, quiet, great pillows and bed, good breakfast with non watery eggs and soft biscuits. It has been awhile since I've been to a holiday inn or express that i was impressed with. Grovetown has it right y'all.

I had reserved a room today but I didn't go in in until later after getting something to eat. Opened the door and there was a roach crawling on the bathroom door. Of course I killed it. I called the front desk ad let themknow. He asked did I want maintenance to come spray the room, I said NO because then more roaches will come out of hiding. He told me that the hotel was booked and there are no available rooms to trade me to. then asked to speak to the manager but he wil not be back until tuesday. After getting off the phone I then looked further to inspect room, there were crumbs and the curtains were dirty(stains) and it wouldn't close. I am so ussed off because it's Memorial Day weekend 2025. I do not know who all I'm going to call first, corporate or manager come Tuesday morning. Ugh

We came here for training for Smoothie King with a 7 month baby and really wanting to stay in a suit for convenience and first 2 weeks we stayed in Home2 suites and it was a nightmare, Rooms were dirty and kitchen utensils were dirty. Hair in freezer and one incident dog jumped on my mother in law in the elevator and the other incident we requested the cleaning staff to make the room and yelled at me saying “Leave Now” Second week, when we arrived later than the check in time room was still filthy and dirty and the cleaning staff was arguing with the front desk, on the contrary Holiday Inn knocked everyday gracefully and asked if we want our rooms to be clean since we have a baby. I opened a case with Hilton as I’m Hilton Honors and one day before checkout AGM told me that “This isn’t the hotel for me” I have studied Hotel Management with F&B so I can know how to run a Hotel. Home2 Suites Grovetown Cleaning staff act like a Mafia and are rude, unprofessional and entire staff included should be fired or retrained. Awful and unprofessional people, I feel that I literally wasted my almost $2k and more so got treated very unprofessionally and I understand he said she said but I have pictures and also left a google review. Save yourself from a rude and disrespectful staff and stay in Holiday INN Next door whose Rooms Are New and also provide you with Firm pillows and clean rooms away from pet hair all over the hotel, dryers and washers and room floors. Good Job Holiday INN for being a professional and who treat their customers right.
