I was here when I was a minor and it was the worst experience. Staff can’t be verbally abusive and show favoritism to certain children. We weren’t allowed to have phones, but certain children were because they were staff favorites. There was constant fights And they force you to go to the church of their choice and do community service.

My second year riding for ABATE'S toy run for their residents. The young children and teens are always appreciative of the help.

This place makes me sick to my stomach. I still live there and like those before me have said this place is psychologically and emotionally abusive. I would never let anyone that wants to be sane after living there come. I wanted to give zero stars but google was tripping. Hit me up if you tryna adopt or sum.

So i lived here for a while. This place actually thrives on emotionally and psychologically abusing the kids in residence. They abuse the power given to them as supervisors and caretakers punish children for whatever they feel like, even for just being annoying, and actually ENCOURAGE the staff to treat the residents like garbage, and no one there, higher ups included, does anything to keep other employees in check. One staff there who treated the residents like human beings was harassed and bullied by her co-workers for it. They belittle their residents and there's actual, blatant homophobia. I could go on for hours about the disgusting way this place is run. It's an actual nightmare for anyone stuck living there.
