This place is a death trap for anyone offloading cattle. I don't think it's been updated since the 50's. The layout for the pins is completely backwards for it to have any amount of safety to exist. I would not recommend this place to anyone that values their own safety. Not sure how they can pass any inspection with 50 gallon drums of guts sitting out back.

I was glad to find a market closer to home since moving from Augusta. HVP have always been great, and it's a plus to order online and select pickup times . The only recommendation I have, and I informed the young lady who took my call, perhaps consider either a menu in store with individual prices or have them available online, aside from the Packages. I was able to secure a price list for myself, thank you to her for that also! I keep the price list with address and telephone on our fridge as advertisment and recommendation.

Happy Valley provided prompt, friendly, professional processing of a Longhorn steer that I purchased from the Tackett Farm and Ranch. While there was a hiccup with the order sheets, the actual culling, trimming, and wrapping of the beef was first class. Price for the services was very reasonable at approximately $1/lb with paper wrap and no hidden gotcha fees. While it' s a 30 minute drive from my house, I'll definitely be using their services again with my next steer or game.

Best meat hands down! Their meat is so fresh and tender. You can truly taste the difference. Easy and convenient service. Proud they're in McDuffie county.

They have the best sausage around. Reminds me of being at grandmothers house in south Ga. it has been a long time sense I have had sausage that good!!! Nice people to trade with too.
