The front desk clerk, Tyanna (not sure if I’m spelling her name correctly), deserves a raise. She provided fantastic customer service and managed multiple customers simultaneously. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

This hotel was horrible! I understand they were renovating, but as of yesterday (March 15), the renovations were supposedly complete—yet the place still smelled bad, especially in the hallways. For the price we paid, I expected a better location, but it’s surrounded by what looks like abandoned hotels. Our room wasn’t up to par either—definitely not worth the cost. To make things worse, the staff was rude. This morning, while guests were trying to enjoy breakfast, an employee was already cleaning up—even though breakfast doesn’t end until 10 AM. This was around 8:45 AM! It was uncomfortable and unnecessary.

The hotel looks nice and inviting from the outside and the lobby. But, my room was disgusting. I walked in to an unpleasant odor. My tennis shoes gripped the tile floor at the entrance. There was a collection of hair behind the door that blew out as the door closed. Dog hair was all over the room. Hair was even in the shower. The television remote did not work. There were not enough towels for two people. And, there were spots all on the night stands and tables were there could have been food or drinks. There was no way this room was cleaned since the previous guests left.

Hotel is seemingly falling apart. Electrical outlets not working/ wood cover falling off exposing the wiring under the night stand. Floors on first floor were constantly dirty with leaves and other small trash. The cleanliness standards here are awful and the folks are very ugly spirited as well as the hotel in a terrible location with seemingly homeless walking through constantly from the front 2 hotels. Staff, particularly the regular cook and Preston have horrible attitudes. I was jumped on for asking for milk and being in the already opened kitchen “before open”. I was treated very rudely by the cook and Preston as well as the reception lady at the desk with her head always covered. I refuse to stay at this location again. I am currently at another Hampton and the people here are wonderful. Day and night. The Augusta Hampton seems to forget, we are customers, not children. I stay in Hilton 70-80 percent or the year and never have I had an experience this horrible and embarrassing with staff. How backwords these people are.

They overbooked their double queen rooms, and The room was dirty. When I arrived to check in with my reservation they didn’t even tell me they didn’t have the room I booked online. They just gave me and the other person I was with 2 keys. When we walked in the room there was only one bed. After going back down to the lobby to have that conversation, they said they’d give us a “roll away” bed. NOT THE SAME THING. In the morning we asked about compensation for their mistake and the lady bluntly says how I can deal with that on Expedia if I’m not happy. Don’t waste your time.
