Habanero's Mexican Grill

Been looking for good TexMex in the Augusta area for over 2 years and wish I had discovered this place sooner! I finally have my go-to spot for beef enchiladas. Portions are huge and prices are great. The fajita plate had lots of meat and bartender wasn’t stingy on her pours either. Can confirm they also have mil discount. Would def recommend!

Came on a Saturday night.... was not crowded at all. Food, service and atmosphere was not the worst I ever had, nor was it was the best. Cool to check the box on getting food quick.

Food has no seasoning or flavor. Average customer eating here was a hillbilly or Karen who just cares about alcoholic drinks. I guess the food tastes better when you’re buzzed? Their chile relleno used a freaking bell pepper and Walmart grade cheese. That’s not how a chile relleno is made. The queso dip was straight plastic and none of the sauces had any spice to them. Enchiladas had sauce poured on them like a college kid trying to make enchiladas in a microwave. Service was extremely slow even though the whole restaurant was empty for lunch ( wonder why). I don’t think the owners have ever been to Mexico before or weren’t raised in a Mexican family. Money wasted. I don’t know what’s up with these east coast Mexican restaurants just throwing out flour tortillas and ground beef on everything with no Mexican seasonings. But I guess people with Walmart pallets eat it up. Btw that blob in the pic was their “ relleno” with no chile relleno sauce on it? What the…

Great Mexican food-chic restaurant (not a bad then just new). Great layout nice bar. We sat at the bar were promptly served chips and salsa. Both were ok. Beers also came quickly and were cold. DW had a taco salad without the bowl so it came in a soup bowl-she liked it-I thought it was small. I had the carnitas dinner. Quite good. Has a outdoor area as well

Service is fast and staff are attentive. Prices is reasonable and food are delicious. Plenty to chose from in the menu. Place is clean and welcoming. We will be back again
