Great Clips

First timer at Great Clips. After registering at the front desk I waited approximately 90 seconds. Amelia, upon my request, did a scissor cut on my hair - that hadn't been tended to in 4 months. Watching her technique, she clearly is very experienced... awesome job! And, she's very personable. I'll be going back in about 5 weeks. A quality cut for $18!

Thank you HANNAH! I had an awful experience at the Richland ave location upon check in with their attitudes. All of the locations in Lexington where we live were closed so after driving AND CALLING that location (Richland ave) and being told everything would be good, to show up and get turned away so rudely made me so mad. My daughter was really upset. I called this location on a whim and explained and asked if they would see us when we got there. We were 16 mins away. Hannah said yes and that it would be no issue. We arrived with a minimal wait and Hannah made my daughter feel really welcome and not like a burden like the ladies at the other location. The cherry on top is that Hannah did a GREAT JOB on my daughters hair. (My daughter impulsively decided she wanted bangs and Hannah said no problem!!) She is in love with it and she feels confident for her elementary graduation next week so thank you from both of us Hannah! We will be back to see you!

I have an easy high n tight faded buzz cut and they speed through leaving long hairs, didnt cut my neck hairs and the seat and workstation was filthy when I sat down. Worry more about pumping out haircuts then they do about quality and not worth the cheap cut when you have to fix it at home anyway

It's been about five years since I was last there. i was unsure if they would be willing to tame my superlong hair . It was an interesting and fun experience. But I did have all of the barbers or stylist questions if I really wanted to cut off my wonderful, amazing, straight long hair. At that moment, I was determined to. Yet the hairstylist that ended up cutting my hair had asked me again what I wanted, but I myself was not sure. I did my best to describe what I wanted. But I also gave him the freedom to style it and make it look amazing. I was open to possibilities he admitted That he was sad to see me. Cut off my wonderful long hair. But I reassured him I was ready to do this. I was ready for change, so he proceeded to grab the ponytail. With the hair band around it. And he carefully cut through the lock of hair releasing Me of the heavyweight that was once upon my head. I sat there and watched as he trimmed away. In many different directions, the patient can be curious about what I would end up looking like after about ten to fifteen minutes It was starting to get close for him to finish up. I was starting to like what I saw i was pondering in my head that my haircut looked very similar to "Leon Kennedy" from Resident Evil so I honestly could not complain I actually like Really Liked it i just wasn't sure if the guy knows who that isso i didnt say or ask. But he did nail the look! I was happy with it. I paid & gave the biggest tip that I could & felt comfortable doing. I have enjoyed the reactions people are giving me after seeing me because they last saw me years ago. now it's so different it really does feel like a true change for the New Year. I definitely plan to come back and have it shaped back up to keep it like it is, even if it does grow longer. So I hope this location is prepared for me to come back with my hair long again 😉

My husband and I always get good haircuts at Great Clips. I usually have a certain lady cut mine, but she's been going to other stores lately. I love the way she cuts my bangs. A lady from Columbia was here Monday and gave me a wonderful haircut. They both are great. Friendly, quick, and just all around nice ladies.
