Global Care Optometry

Went in today for my 11 year old sons appt and was told she needed an Military ID for him in order for him to be seen. My husband has been in the Army Full time for 13 years and even when we were being seen on Post they've never asked for IDs for the kids or ever giving us one. He is a Disabled Vet now and after he got out full time he joined the National Guard for the Insurance benefits, we've used Tricare Insurance all over Ga and have never been told a child needs an ID. Canceled my Appt and went to two more places and they all said the same thing (wasn't needed) that they only needed the Sponsors ID (which we had.) We ended up going to Eyemart Express because they did walk- ins and son had no glasses so we needed something immediate. I as a consumer feel like you guys need to train your front Personnel better so problems like this won't arise because Ashley did not know what she was talking about and was acting like she didnt want to help a black person because after all that I told her to cancel my Appointment and she shrugged her shoulders and said ok... She acted like I had stole someone's ID and tried to use it for my child!!!

The visit was quick and my glasses were ready within hours.
