This Georgia Visitor Information Center was such a pleasant and welcoming stop during our road trip! Located right off the interstate, it’s the perfect place to stretch your legs, use the clean restrooms, and grab some inspiration for your travels through the Peach State. The building is bright, well-kept, and full of Southern charm—from the “Welcome Y’all” mat to the big peach-themed wall displays. Inside, we found a wealth of brochures, maps, and travel ideas, plus seasonal decorations that made it feel warm and personal. There’s even a fun trivia board and themed tables that show off what Georgia has to offer. Staff were friendly and happy to help, and the whole place felt calm, organized, and cared for. A great first impression of Georgia!

Very very nice rest area. Like a park. Great access for big trucks too. Too notch!

Truckers! Warning the restroom close with the rest area at 11 pm. So much for a safe place with facilities for the driver working his ass off to deliver shine, rain Or snow. But if you want there are plenty of other truckparking areas that don't offer anything at all as well canada actually offers more parking and facilities then most states do in the US. Even tho the US has laws that supposedly support and offer facilities for Truckers.

I was passing through Augusta and needed a place to stop Stretch my legs and use the ladies room. This visitor location was different from any rest areas I have stopped to in the past. The. Atmosphere was very welcoming. There were employees outside taking a break Upon entering the building the that greeted me with a hello how are you. As I entered the building the restrooms were clean. Two stalls were out of order however they were plenty of stalls available for use. The visitor center was filled with maps and brochures of the state and the different cities in the what’s happening in the cities all for free. The concierge Kate was very friendly warm and helpful as she offered me a map of Georgia. This location also has some interesting artwork available for sale. I really enjoyed my visit at this location. Also there were ample parking spaces for cars and Commercial tracks. This is a great location to stop if you have kids or a for baby there’s plenty space for them to run around and scratch their legs is also a nice picnic area available. I will visit here again.

Been stopping here for years. 0n April 21, 2025, men's restroom a mess. One stall seemingly out of order for many months. Another stall toilet seat smeared with feces. Alternate restrooms locked. Picnic areas trashed, same status each time we stop. Concrete table top wobbles severely on pedestal for a couple of years now. Some attention to maintenance is badly needed. Very nice tourism zone inside building, nice staff too.
